Which Music Score is the best?

Obviously Morrowind's theme is the best because it's the original. We wouldn't have all these tacky adaptations without it.

Skyrim's. I like both Morrowind and Oblivion's soundtracks, but what little we've heard of Skyrim's has already won me over. I can't get past the conjured images of skeletal nordic warriors rowing grimly beneath a longship's black and ragged sails in time with the music.

I'm going with Morrowind's. Only because it's th first that I heard and I get a huge NostalgiaBomb explosion when I hear it. I almost cried when I heard it replicated in Skyrim though, so that's close behind. Oblivion's just didn't get to me though.

I kinda like how, even though it was probably unintentional, all 3 themes tell a sort of story when put together, like the 3 acts of a play.

The Morrowind theme is a beautiful, calm little piece that reminds you of dawn and sets an upbeat mood. It's sort of an introduction to the Elder Scrolls (I know Morrowind was definitely not the first TES game, but III, IV and V just sorta fit together nicely). Then Oblivion's theme is the beginning of the main conflict, with a more "the end is nigh" sound. And finally the Skyrim the final act where the hero rises to the occasion and battles to the end in the face of defeat, with epic chants that remind you of an army assembling for one final push.

I ain't saying the games are like this, but the themes sort of are.

I used to prefer Morrowind's theme, but Oblivion's has grown on me. I prefer that, now. Skyrim's is awesome, but it's a bit too "hype-ish" for me to see it as a score.

Had to be the little game that could I'm afraid. So many hours, so many moments, so many memories and so many dreams tied up in Morrowind I cannot separate the music.

Nice point...

A more curious point. Of the three, the only one I cannot chant 'Morrowind' to is Morrowind, heh.

Morrowind for me. It's the sort of thing you can hear once and remember for the rest of your life.

For me they are parts of one piece and they all sound great separately, but together they are divine. Chapeau bas Mr. Soule

Morrowind, but I believe Skyrim will snatch that place, from hearing that epic part in the Sounds of Skyrim video. Like Morrowind, but with chanting and on steroids. :D

The theme in the Oblivion intro is good, but the main menu theme is worse. It dies after a while, and even though the continuation is pretty good, it isn't very epic.

It was always hard for me to decide between Morrowind and Oblivion title tracks because they are both equally amazing, but as for the rest of the soundtrack Oblivion is the best soundtrack ever made, all categories (including movies).

I like the calm notes, that's why I voted for Morrowind.

I found that this http://www.scottbuckley.com.au/2010/06/rise-of-an-emperor-morrowindoblivion-remix/ is a great combination of both Oblivion and Morrowind's theme songs.

Skyrim sounds great and will be greater if it fits well the game atmosphere.

morrowind theme was better but oblivion's entire soundtrack was superior to morrowind's.

Morrowind has the nostalgia factor, makes me tingle every time I hear it. Skyrim is just strait up epic, and makes me feel a sort of preemptive nostalgia: even though I've not played the game, I feel like I know what it is like and that it is awesome. Skyrim wins.

This. Which is incredible because we haven't heard Skyrim's theme in full yet. Just wait until we do... I think everyone here will have to change their pants. Twice.

I voted for Skyrim just based on what we've heard so far it destroys Morrowind and Oblivion.

skyrim...just because it makes me feel stronger. its very powerful, like the voice is charging me up for battle.
morrowind comes right after. its so mysterious and compelling.
oblivion was fine but it didn't make me feel the same as the others, just not the same.
