I'm excited about a lot of stuff, so I'd say the most exciting one for me is non-linear means of quest completion, with the rebel faction being a close second.

Skyrim itself, a whole new province to explore. Dragons. Skyrim. Being Dragonborn. Skyrim. Shouts. Skyrim.

(Almost) ALL of these things, but my favorite is not on the list: ECOSYSTEMS! A complex world with animals and NPCs interacting with each other in realistic ways, like Stormcloaks escorting a prisoner somewhere past you, like foxes and wolves chasing rabbits and deer. A world where you can steal hen's eggs from their nests. Yes.

Out of all the features you listed I would say this one.

"Even minor NPCs have much more complexity and depth compared with Oblivion."

NPC's in OB were terribly boring, just copy and paste.

I suppose we can only hope all these journalists who played the demo were correct and didn't just happen to talk with a few NPCs who have a little bit more depth.

However, out of 13 different people who played the demo, they seem to consistently agree that the NPCs have greater depth and complexity.

Damn it. I don't exactly have a Drool anolyzer on hand. How the hell am I supposed to know which drips of drool correlate to which new feature?

Seriously, I'm drooling over ALL of them. I've been drooling since the VGAs.

I think I have to add a new feature that is making me drool:

AURORA BOREALIS CONFIRMED

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1217303-german-game-pro-article/page__view__findpost__p__18271483

Night falls and the spectacular aurora borealis lights up the sky, glow-worms and white butterflies flutter around us.

All of them (although still can't see the need for a seperate pickpocketing skill ) but especially the Stormcloaks. Looks like we'll have more joinable factions than Oblivion

No, I love those things as well - I think you have misunderstood the point of this thread.

What this thread is discussing, and my list in the OP, consists solely of Brand New Features from the Past 2 days

can you believe how much new info was released since Thursday?

I'm really looking forward to making friends with NPCs and seeing how it all works, the first thing I'll do is speak to everyone in sight!

Damn it, NO! NOT AGAIN! I HATE being accompanied by interesting companions! It's just disappointing when they die! I want disposable mercenaries!
