Which Race Does Sheogorath Prefer?

Post » Sat Jan 22, 2011 1:31 pm

It seems as though many Daedric Princes have one or two mortal races that they take a liking to. For instance, Azura with Dunmer and Khajiiti, or even Malacoth and his Orcs. Question is, which race do you think Sheogorath prefers most, based off of what you have observed in the Lore and in the games?

Azura doesn't prefer Dumners. She cured Chimer into Dumner. Dumner is suppose to be a cursed body.

Ah, but only because of the Tribunal! And then Nerevarine was aided by Azura? How 'bout that?

Actually, Khajiits prefer Azura. For one thing, she created them, and bound them to the Lunar Lattice.

Oh sure, only because of the Tribunal... Dumner = a mistake. They shouldn't exist. Nerevarine was never aided by Azura. She simply used the Nerevarine as a tool to do her bidding. The Nerevarine is nothing more than a tool.

Dammit, I know I shouldn't but I just can't stand the fact that you keep spelling it Dumner. It's Dunmer though just use Dark Elves instead. Ok sorry back on track. I don't honestly think Sheogorath has a favorite, though if he did maybe he likes the crazy Argonians the best (Big Head is one of the few Cameos in TES IV).

Sheogorath doesn't prefer any single race, I think; he simply prefers crazy people as worshippers and sane people as objects of his ridicule. One must admire how insanity can strip away all racism so readily...

Oh, I know. But I just wanted something else other than your reply. Maybe a bit more creative and fun. :)

"Aided" or "Used", you're arguing semantics. The fact is that the TES canon lore Nerevarine brought about the change to Morrowind that was in keeping with Azura's designs i.e. the fall of the Tribunal, for the benefit of the Dunmer.

So far I can only name 5 Princes who are very involved with Mundus and hav ehad "favourite races":
Boetiah (Dunmer), Mephala (Dunmer), Azura (Khajiites, Dunmer), Malacath (Orcs), Meridia (Ayleids).
Thats not even a third of all Princes... and I think we dont know of any special affilition between Sheogorath and a certain people.

Was it not Meridia that wiped out a city of Ayleids that used to be just east of the Imperial City? If memory serves, it appeared to be a cave until the player went deeper and found a ruin, with clues as to what happend. To sum up, the builders were punished by Meridia and she buried the whole place, trapping most of them inside.

Sheogorath preffers anyone who's mad, i doubt he cares about the race. He does not even want to choose between Mazken and Aureals, liking both equaally
