I'm having a hard time deciding on a race for a shaman archer character I want to play. At first I thought of a Nord, because there is a http://uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Korst_Wind-Eye, but he seems exceptional, so now I'm not so sure. Do you think other races are more shamanistic? The Bosmer perhaps?

While there isn't too much information on Khajiit culture, they do have villages rather than cities in Elsweyr. So I'm assuming they're very spiritual and shamanistic.
I'm not too sure what kind of "Shaman" you're going for, though.

He will be primarily an archer, that summons elementals to aid him and uses storm shouts. He will be wearing fur armor that he enchants himself.

I would say Breton due to the fact that the Forsworn are bratons and the briarhearts are very much like shamans.

I'd go with Argonian. Seems like the natural choice. If not that, then probably orc or something... I don't think Breton or High Elf would make the best choice, since their magic use seems more refined and highly cultured, instead of spiritual and intuitive.

Play an Ashland Dunmer. They actually had shamans in Morrowind.

My first thought was argonian, if you don't want to be a beast race do dunmer for elf or nord if you want to be human,

With mind altering substances a major part of their culture, and 3rd person way of talking, I always draw a connection from khajiits to voodoo witch doctors... Which fit my idea of a shaman more than early british pagans.
