First post!

Anyways, i'm not really sure. I love sneaking with a bosmer, but i also got really inspired by the trailer. Maybe i will play as a Nord. I live in Norway, so it fits very well!

Imperial, because not only have they been successful in conquering all of Tamriel, but they're also pretty good guys that frown on slavery and other inhuman acts.
I think they are both powerful and just, and that's why I love them and will play as an Imperial stealth character first.

Later I will probably try Nord because of the setting (and my ancestors, hehe), an Altmer mage and a Redguard warrior.

Nord, always start with a nord...I blame my ancestores and where I grew up. Cursed snow, no matter how much I hate it I always felt most at home in Bruma.

Cannot possibly decide until I see how all the races look. Not to mention racial abilities/characteristics and what skills get boosted. Too many things are going to change from Oblivion, which is a great thing.

Ill play Nord first. Since the game is based in Skyrim, seems fair to have the Dragonborn a native.

I know my first character is going to be argonian, but judging by how all the races look from the trailer so far, I may just make serious characters out of all of them for once.

Haha... since when did Argonians become so popular? At least Dunmer isn't the most popular anymore... I can pick it now without feeling like I'm going with the flow.

Though, I'll definitely play a Nord still.

I always play as Kajiit.
Garrion the Thief.
Dahr'Jean the Battlemage
Kilq the Ranger

The only other race I ever play as are the Argonians.

yea but we need variety, give us something that we havent seen before, yet we will totally love, just my opinion.

I think they should leave all the races they have now but add some more. I have always wanted them to add Imga, the ape-men from valenwood.

I will be Nord and then go through all human like races, Imperial, Redgaurd, and then Breton.
Then I'll start with the pariah races - Orcs, Argonians, and Khajiit.
Then on to elves, Bosmer, Dumer, then Altmer.

Even though Orcs are technically elves, their just to badass to be grouped into a bunch of weaklings.

In Oblivion and Morrowind I really liked the Orcs because of the brute force. Though this time around i'm going to play as a Nord. I just hope thats how Nords stay *don't mind me* as they are in the trailer. I never did like the human races that much but the Nords new look is awesome!

Hmm, I'm not sure yet. I'd like to see the beast races first (Khajiit, Argonian, and Orc), but I may end up what starting the way I did with Morrowind and Oblivion.

Ranger - Stealthy Swordsman-Archer Bosmer (THANKFULLY, I can DUAL WIELD NOW! :toughninja: )
Spellshadow - Stealthy Dunmer/Dark Elf Mage-Assassin
Mercenary - In Your FACE Nord with Axe & Shield (although I may duel wield axes...)

If I play any after that, then it'll probably be one of the Beast races.
UNLESS, the Beast races look much, much better. Then...I'm not sure. :blink:

Likely be Humanoid for first character if nothing else.

For now I'm going with Nord.

Played a Dunmer in Morrowind and an Argonian in Oblivion.

Nords my third favorite race so I think its time I give them a go.
Although I say "for now" cause it depends on how the races look in game. One of the reasons I didn't play as a Dunmer in Oblivion is because I didn't like how they looked in that game. So we'll see.

Didn't vote, have to see later how Skyrim would handle the races first, my primary choices are Dunmer, Osimer, Reguard or Argonian.

Nord, simply because that is what this particular segment of the series is based around. The same as I have done since Morrowind (I know is isn't that long ago). Prbly end up with my ''main'' being a Khajiit somehow that always happens.
