Always liked the Bretons. Not sure why, probably because they look the most normal to me.

It's the same in Morrowind. It's because they ARE always angry. You would be too if you were possessed of superior fighting prowess and forced to suppress your natural urge to show it off by littering the ground with dead people. What good is a 90 lb axe if I'm not allowed to just behead some high-and-mighty Dunmer with it?

report the original post and ask a mod to do it ?

Now that I've dove deep into the Lore of Nords and learned some stuff I didn't know before I think they passed Bosmer as my favorite.

In terms of lore, I think probably Redguard. I would love for a game to take place on Yokuda. Obviously it would have to be long before the time period of Morrowind or Oblivion, unless Bethesda decided to come up with an explanation for Yokuda resurfacing... But from what I know of the land and the culture it seems pretty cool.

In terms of playing the game, probably Dunmer, maybe Altmer. Dunmer because they are very versatile and have pretty solid bonuses, so you can be pretty flexible when it comes to skill set and playing style. And Altmer because I think a well-built Altmer battlemage is just a force, and despite the fact that Altmer are generally very arrogant and annoying, it can be so much fun using that power. I think my longest played character in any ES game is an Altmer battlemage in Oblivion with something like 215 hours played (not exactly sure; don't have the game handy at the moment . . . that may be way off but point is it's a lot of time compared to my other characters).

Redguard, Breton, Bosmer, Dunmer.

Redguard because of their Adrenaline Rush power. That got me through early Morrowind so many times. Plus they had some crazy conquest and kicked solid amounts of ass however many years ago.

Bretons for their magically prowess (yes, over Altmer). Made Oblivion ezmode.

Bosmer for their Here-and-Now spirit, plus their attunement to nature.

Dunmer for having spent so much time with them in Morrowind. I've just bonded with them as a race. They're very dear to me. *sniff*

nords..........cause like me they despise having to wear clothes. thank god for sitting at home in front of my PC with noone else around. :)

the only non-human race i could get into was an orc i made. i deliberatetly made him low intelligence and gave him no magic skills but his melee was obscene. i also capped his sneak at 25 to simulate clumsiness and he only used two handed weapons. one of the most fun characters ive ever played. :)

Argonians are somewhat weird and ugly, never liked them.

Khajiits are pretty cool, i liked them alot when i first played Morrowind and i still like them.

Bretons are just regular humans, i don't usually play mage so meh.

Redguards are black, i usually play a race that i can somewhat relate to and since i'm not black in real life, i don't really like to play them.

Nords are a nice, basic warrior race. I sometimes play them.

Imperials i like the most. I just love everything regarding Rome. Only Dwemer i find cooler.

Orcs are meh. I have never really liked to play them in any game.

Bosmer are alright aswell, i often use them as a rogue class. It bugs me that Bosmer have somewhat annoying and comedic appearances in TES, though.

Dunmer and Altmer....no idea really, haven't ever played either of them.

Khajiit. They seem very interesting as they have many different...'forms' during the different times when they are born.

Khajiit. Their morphology alone is quite intriquing, and their culture only adds to it. Hopefully we'll see an official take on Elsweyr sometime in the future. Besides, i like their version of the creation myth most :hehe:

Argonians for being alien
Nords for their love of Shor and their various myths
Redguards for being the greatest swordsman this world has ever seen, and for having a mythology that mostly differs from everyone else.
