Mystical, Ancient, noble. . . The High Elven Altmer for me. And my toner allows me to give a high-elf brown skin, so no racism here. Speciesism, perhaps. . . I refuse to don scales and a lizard face. My apologies.

Obviously we're sick racists, as nobody picked the Redguard yet...
:o

Maybe if they didn't either eat or steal horses they'd be chosen more often.

Just kidding.

Argonian of course. Then a Khajiit. Then eventually all the others.

I know it's cliche for Skyrim, but I'm gonna be rocking a Nord character. It's one of the few races I haven't played as with a serious character yet, and it seems too appropriate for the in-game story and the environment. My main character of Morrowind was a Dunmer (sheer coincidence) and my main character of Oblivion was an Imperial. It's a tradition for me now to use the race of the game's homeland as my main character.

I'll also make other characters, such as a Redguard, a Dunmer, maybe another mer. I might try a Khajiit. I haven't played the beast races AT ALL yet.

Dunmer, of course. The Dunmer will always be my favorite race.

I'm in the same boat. I think the highest I've gotten a beast character was level 6 in Morrowind. I had an Argonian thief-type character.

For some reason I just end up going back to the classics. Nord at the top of my list followed by Dunmer and Bretons.

The highest I've gotten a beast character is level 0, AKA never even selected one as a character.

I've been an Argonian once, but didn't like it much. I like the Khajiit, but I still prefer humans and elves. I tried an orc once, but didn't even make it to level 2, because I hated it. Pretty much no abilities whatsoever as a mage, and everybody hated my character... :(

Dunmer, provided they look a little better. Hated how they looked in Oblivion.

I've never played a "high" elf, Bosmer, or Nord.

But, I plan on playing a Nord for my first fighter character. (sorry Redguard and Orsimer)

I always start as a high elf pure merchant mage. I like the fact they tend to be the most extreme even if they seem weaker then bretons.

These polls always end the same

1st Nord
2nd Dunmer
3rd-7th Altmer, bosmer, Breton, imperial, and argonain,
8th-10th Khajiit, Orc and Redguard.

God I hope they look better than Oblivion. I miss the Morrowind Dunmer, rough people with husky voices.

Yep. The results never amaze, but I can see why they are as such

I'm still undecided at this point. In oblivion, once i found out the character creation tweak with the sliders I could make an Orc with blood red skin and white hair in a top knot. Looks like an awesome Japanese Demon or something. So... If I can do the same I may have to ressurect Kintaro Kitsune, the fox-faced demon.

If not I've been toying with the idea of the wild haired, dual axe-weilding Nord, Ishamael "The Betrayer of Hope", 'ala Wheel of Time. I think with the setting it will most definatley occur for one play through.
