Its gonna be a close call between Altmer and Breton for me because i always play Mage as my first character in rpgs whenever available. It will depend mostly on racial traits but if we take oblivion traits in consideration then its gonna be Altmer because i like to play offensive mage rather then a defensive one like breton
I always start with a Dark Elf because they are the most rounded characters IMO. I can try out combat, stealth, and magic without starting three games.
Lame, perhaps. But that's okay. Lame can be cool! I myself am going with resurrection from the dead...
After two hundred years im saying im gonna be a descendant of my cyrodilic champion..he obviosly slept with several women being the hero he was...somehow that dragons blood got into the champions receding for two generations..then came me at the start of skyrim about to be excuted for being at the wrong place at the wrong time..ehem..excuse me..right time...how else would i start the main quest if it was destiny that brought me there..according to patrick stewart..i mean uriel septim
I think we should wait until Bethesda shows us these "cool" and "unique" looking races.
Heres hoping a real reprasentation of the "reptile" argonian and the "ferocous" kahjit and the "monstrous" orc...instead of the "morrowind faces + pig" heads they had in oblivion..literally every face was the model they had in morrowind plus a pig or a turtles features..add that to an argonian or orc and it doesnt work out too well
Argonian every time. I've always liked lizards and reptiles (I blame childhood cartoons like Wally Gator and Denver the last Dinosaur). Since I found Argonians in Daggerfall's demo I knew it was the race I was going to play as in this game series.

I'm thinking probably a Nord, but it bothers me that a Nord character should know Skyrim like the back of his hand yet I will be wandering around the game world for the first time without much knowledge of my surroundings...which takes me out of character a bit.
What can I say, it's the little things that bother me....
Breton's all the way. I've always played a bald Breton magic wielder. Using Breton + Apprentice = powerful mage that has good defense against magic as well.
