Which side did you first side with?

NCR first time, House 2nd time.
Generally pro-NCR in nature since (but no other complete playthru).

I sided with the New California Republic on my first play through. I had already done a whole bunch of quests for them, so when the time to choose sides rolled around I thought "Why not?".

I love the NCR, which is funny because I hate California IRL.

The "first first", I have to say NCR.. albeit it took me 90 minutes to finish the last battle due to the infamous NPC frame lag issues at release... That was a marathon that wasn't needed.

Started following House's questline....then he asked me to go wipe out the BoS. Right after I had been made a Paladin. Once I realized it was either him or my Brothers and Sisters, I spontaneously went downstairs and put him down then brought in Yes-Man. I just couldn't do it.

Yes man.. But only because I decided not to veer off course from the track the game starts you on. But on the playthrough I'm doing now I was doing legion but have sort of changed my mind and went to ncr. (but I kept friendly with the legion so I don't get [censored] by them

I sided with House first cause I believe he was the most moral choice, and that he was best option for the people of the Mojave. However I nearly cried after I had to go kill my B.O.S brothers and sisters :-(.

Then I tried to go with Caesars Legion and that just ended up being some big teenage slaughter movie.

Then I worked with Yes Man and he was alright

Now I'm working with the NCR and I have to say even though I believe House is still the best choice, Boone and I are kicking some serious Legion ass.

Depends on what time you mean first. I started my first playthrough with ncr loving guy to get the feel but as i went on i kinda wanted to see the whole thing and thought yes man, meant i could do anything of the sides and still be liked by nrc. Though i had yet to finish my first playthrough it was still intresting to check all sides to look at before you go too much in the deep end

Caesars Legion, cause I wanted to go badass.

NCR is truly my favorite and the ending I think is best, Yes Mans ending is tied, and I killed House. Cant stand him.

whats wrong with mr.house hes cool man

i had every intention of helping the NCR on my first go around, but somehow Mr House conned me into working for him. He didn't get off so easy this time (second playthrough)

I was originally siding with the NCR and now I've killed Mr. House and it seems like Caeser doesn't like me anymore even though I haven't even talked to him in the game yet, and I got a letter or something saying that the NCR would consider me an enemy if I kept working with the Yes Man. I still would rather side with the NCR but I'm guessing that might not be possible now...

I prefer to play with female characters.

Even better. You become the best treated woman in the Legion.

I was actually surprised about how little the Legion cared that a woman was working with them. Aside from not being able to fight in the arena you're considered an equal.

I went with House in my first play-through, since that's the natural flow of things if you follow the direct quest line. Have done each faction at least once, and my characters all go the Independent route now since it gives me the most flexibility on how to handle the various smaller factions.
