You silly fool. There is not a single flaw in Stormcloaks, Ulfric, or the Nords as a whole. They are STRONK and infallible, the shining light of the world that most certainly never, ever express any hate or genocidal intent upon foreigners, they are always right and they are always the victim.

The Empire is way better. Pretty much every reason to join the Stormcloaks can be countered by an even better reason to join the Empire.

And I won't start arguing with anybody over it, I've argued way too much over this topic... I've even wrote my sig based off of it.

I went with Stormcloaks this time round even if I go with Imperials in every playthrough except for one which happens to be a Nord.

Are we talking modern nords or ancient? The ancient ones took one attack by one race of elves to be an attack on them by the entirety of all elves, and held a pretty big grudge over it. A ridiculous overreaction on their part.

Modern nords are fairly civil, though about 20% of them support the empire so there's still some faults there.

Congratulations on missing the point. My whole post was about how the Empire who in their own words was suppose to bring protection, law and order to other provinces did mostly nothing but sit back through most of it's history when the other provinces needed their help. Of course as soon as poor Cyrodill is threatened the Imps finally get off the couch.

I don't see why not. And racial diversity is nothing without equality, which outside of Cyrodiil, the people aren't seeing it as far as what the Empire does and who benefits and when. It's all about if what you want happens to be what they want.

Example: WGC. No one got any say in this at all. Nords and Redguards were shafted. Everyone's heard of taxation without representation. This is oppression without representation.

edit: Not saying nords are better in this regard as far as equality goes. No one is in TES, except that I doubt anyone else would have agreed to such a treaty. Just saying this shouldn't be a point for the Empire at all.

I doubt it would do very well; all the loyal stomcloak people would post poorly argued rants about how ‘evil and ‘corrupt’ they think the empire is.

I'd also like to point out that this diversity of the Empire wasn't some benevolent thing, it's an Empire. Empires are diverse, and they don't get that way through kindness.

So far I haven't seen any poor arguments. It's only "poor" because people don't agree/don't want to agree.

During times of relative peace, yes their birthrates are lower compared to human's. In times of war and the aftermath of war, their birthrates skyrocket.
