Its not exactly going to be a positive reaction, considering what questline its involved in and how ominous it came off. You're purposefully ignoring it because you know its not a good sign for things to come and you dn't want to admit it. Because it's a big uncertainty. Even if we don't know, I'd rather not have Skyrim have to deal with that uncertainty. Too big a risk.

There is no evidence that this civil war will be affecting the lore, because it is just as likely that Mede's Death will unite ALL human Races, just as it is likely to be a "symbol" of "wimperial weakness".

Means nothing because the lore implications have not been written.
