Which system are you buying SKYRIM for?

Post » Sat Sep 17, 2011 11:41 pm

Well, I do like variety

Then if you aren't bothered by that, don't criticize the way other people talk, nor praise the "older english" and despise the "new" one. That's quite hypocrital, don't you think?

Lastly, I would have left the "Ninja" part out, had I not thought about a possibility. Perhaps, through my conduct, I could reclaim and redeem the name of the great Japanese assassins who are so stereotypically displayed in today's culture? This is one of my goals.

Good luck. I suggest you using ice cubes for your Frost-based attacks

I shall point out that the Japanese were the ones that stereotyped them in the first place, thirty or so years ago with their movies and manga, not today's culture. Now back to your delusions!!!

Again, I said TODAY'S culture. Not referring to any one specifically.

No. You don't understand. There is a bar that is being lowered, which decreases our standard. Read above. I dislike today's stereotypes as well. Variety, not diluted variety, I like.
Example. Just watched the new Thor movie. Quite entertaining, though, knowing most of the series from both comics and old myth, it is a messed up version from the comics, another messed up version. In the oldest, and most original Norse Myth, Odin is thor's BROTHER, not FATHER. I tend to stick to that as well.

Again, I do not see where you make sense in that remark.

The fact that you don't see that anybody even more traditionalist than you may think that your "ninja" ideas also lowers the bar and decreases the standart of both terms (both being from Nordic origin, and a "ninja").

Again, I was a traditionalist myself, so believe me I know what I'm talking about :)

I was pointing out that it is not solely today's culture that started the ninja craze. It occurred years ago, not within the last 5 years.

It is not so hard to grasp! Norse blood, ninja-skills. I'm trying to redeem such a name, upon which is now looked down, and deserves more respect, by everyone. Back to their origin, which is more proper and respectable than the agile sword-wielders in stage-moving costumes we think of today.

Indeed... <_<

Understood. Perhaps I am not correctly portraying my meaning. By "today's" I mean "modern," which includes the last century, or perhaps, more appropriately, half-century.

Well, it's your incoherence problem, not mine.

OT: Serious answer now, PC of course :)

PS3, Because that's what I have... + my massive HD TV and sofa need a visit. yay, not being interupted during game play by automatic updates or the bleep of MSN. 24 hours straight on a swivvel chair is nowhere near as good as 24 hours straight on a nice big sofa in front of a huge cinematic screen, with a bunch of munchies on the coffee table and beers that I can drink without risk of spilling it on the computer that's running my game. Yay for consoles!

Nowhere is it written that a computer has to sit on a desk or that a computer user has to sit in a hard chair. I have mine on my floor. When I game I am surrounded by pillows and blankets that are infinitely more comfortable than any couch I have ever sat on. My 30" computer monitor is inches away. Comfort-wise, I would never trade my computer set up for a couch and TV. ;)

PC retail, because I like a physical copy and it's much cheaper than buying directly from Steam unless Steam has one of those crazy sales.

my PC is powerful and connected to a large 42inch TV with a 360 controller and it will have mods so no reason NOT to buy the PC version.

PC and on a disc 'cause I've no doubt Skyrim can make use of all this new hardware and I want something tangible for my money such that, when Steam evaporates, I'll not be left empty handed.

Accck not that E.T. game... *hides in bushes*

I'll be getting Skyrim for PC in the hard copy flavor. Look forward to that and mods and playing with the CS.

Save up as you go and buy a part at a time. It's what I did for my mean machine.
