I play Morrowind, at least when I'm not involved in taking over the world or the universe in either some historical military or sci-fi game. When I do play MW, it's generally 2-4 hours at a shot in the evenings that I play, which happen about as often as not with my schedule. I'm not actively playing, currently, but did so about 2-3 weeks ago, and will probably start a fresh character in another few weeks when I get done with whatever I'm involved in at the moment and the "MW bug" inevitably bites me again.
Oblivion got a heavier play schedule at first, because it looked good, but after the initial "glamour" wore off, I began to get frustrated with the lack of anything "meaningful" in the game (your character stats were less important than your dexterity as a player, the factions were pointless and shallow, you couldn't "permanently' do anything because everything respawned, and it actually hurt you to "improve" because everything advanced as you did). I had to really struggle to maintain interest in it for long enough to finish the MQ, and haven't been able to muster enough enthusiasm for the game to even try the Shivering Isles expansion (which I hear is much better than the base game, but have yet to see).
I downloaded DF when Bethesda released it as a freebie, but haven't been motivated enough to go through all of the DOS-Box hassles, or to put a "classic" computer together from some of the mounds of stuff lying around the PC graveyard in my attic. I had seen it briefly, years back, but didn't really hear much about it one way or the other, so it wasn't on my list of "priorities" to try. I tried a mod for MW that added the DF starting dungeon, more or less, and found it "interesting, but kind of crude", and way too obviously random for my tastes. Somehow, I don't think I'd enjoy a complete game with such complete and uncontrolled randomization, which the game seems to rely on.
