intel core 13-3217u or intel pentium dual core t2310?

And also how can you tell which is better?

At a quick look I'd say the Intel Core 13-3217u is better. Launch date is Q2,12 while the other is 5 years older.

It also seems to have bigger clock-speed and a 3MB cache, where the other has lower clock-speed and a L2 1MB cache.

I'm really no expert at computers though, but that's my anolysis of them. Anyone who actually knows stuff could correct me if I'm wrong, or let me know if I'm right!

This question could've been piggy-backed to your laptop thread. Since the i3 is in the laptop you asked about. A mod should merge this thread with that one.

As GorbadPS3 say: The i3-3217u is better than the Pentium T2310.

If i judge from the benchmarks it's twice as much better if not more. !!!!! (That's actually because the old Pentium technology versus the newer Dual-Core technology from Intel. !!!!!)
