No version comes with DLC.

If you're on xbox (thoguh most will say it is much more worth getting on PC so that you can use mods) then get the GoTY. Platinum (from what i understand) is just a re-release of the original game without the expansions.

GoTY comes with both expansions and all patches.

Way longer. Morrowind isn't voice acted so they could cram in more content. More guilds (but guilds are more of a job then "omg the epic questline" like in OB), a longer main quest and the start is VERY slow. Oblivion is an action game (which I love btw) while morrowind is more of an old hardcoe RPG

My opinion: PC over xbox becaue of mods
And if you are going to get any version of MW get the GotY version. I think it has the latest patches of the other options. Which brings me back to the PC version as there is a mod or two that you can add that fixes all the bugs they missed (NPCs that give wrong directions for example)

I can't fathom why you'd want to play any version other than the PC version if you have a modern PC gaming rig. If you are stuck with XBox, you def want the GOTY edition. If you decide to go PC, the Steam version is ok with a couple small tweaks, or scrounge up a GOTY edition PC version.

The massive graphics upgrades available in the mods forum will blow you away. Morrowind looks as good as (better?) than Oblivion with all the mesh, texture, and distant land alterations. Its not for those unwilling to spend a couple nights researching/installing the right stuff, but the reward is pretty sweet.

IMO graphic mods aren't that nessesary... Any computer can handle morrowind today, and the standard machine had well over morrowinds minimum req. 5 years ago... so if you have a computer, get that version. Mods are lovely, adds loads of content and you can change just about anything you dislike. Hell, you can even play as an ostrich in one mod :celebration:

PC goty ver.
Mods are always a plus, but you will want mods that fix some of the nasty bugs.
