Which version of Skyrim are you going to purchase?

What about HD compatability, and being able to play on your TV on a couch, with a wireless Xbox Controller? (i know these things are possible on PC (not sure about wireless controllers, but i wouldn't be surprised), but they aren't as practical, and add to the cost of playing on a already very expensive PC)

My computer is 3 years old, and it cost 700 dollars at the time. despite it's cheapness, it can do everything I need, other than current-gen gaming... I got a 300 dollar xbox for that. totaling 1000 dollars, for a computer, and a gaming system, instead of a computer that is also a gaming system.

Frankly, my monitor quality is much better than my TV (shows where I spend most of my time, I guess). The HD and wireless controller can be done, btw. It's a fairly simple install for the controller and my graphics cards do HD. As for the rest, it's probably a matter of taste. I'm happy that my PC will do more than just play games, though it does irk me a bit that there are a lot of good games out there that will not be ported to the PC. I'll probably have to break down and buy a console if that trend continues. I understand why it's happening, but it's still irksome.

Preferably I would love to build a badass computer to run everything, but as jobless as I am, I may not be able to do it until after its release, so 360 for now. I'm content with the 360's graphics, and I've never been into mods very much so I have no rush for getting a PC up and running any time soon.

Also, I could probably do a triple screen/ monitor setup if my dad would let me use his monitor for say.... 3 years (and I had a better graphics card, a better desk, [better chair is optional], and the other things... since I dont really know how to do that >_>... ) (IE I have 3 pretty nice monitors, but a crappy graphics card...)

Sorry for going sortof off topic...

I will get it depending on how the game is on PC, if not then I won't get it.

I don't own a 360 or PS3. I prefer and am comfortable using mouse and keyboard.

you forgot the option of PC and console for those who will initially get it on console but then switch to PC for mods......ive seen several posts by people saying that is their intention.

360 for now, and when I am itching to play Elder Scrolls VIII, I'll think to myself "Man, I remember when Skyrim came out. It was awesome. Now that this hardware costs like 600 bucks, I should finally play Skyrim on PC".

Or, which is my favorite scenario, simply win the lottery and buy the most expensive thing I can on the alienware site, so I can pre-order my Skyrim copy on PC.

If I had a choice, I'd go with the PC version, BUT seeing as how my PC is garbage...I'm going with the 360.

Maybe when I upgrade...

PS3, mainly because I've formed a meaningful relationship to it, and it's a little more reliable than the 360's hardware, in my opinion. I'm not trying to start a war, just my own experience. My 360 crashed four times in the year I bought it. My PS3 hasn't at all. Not even once. And I've had it for two years. So yeah, PS3 for me.

This game no Dubitably be awsome on Pc... I used to Pc Game it's just to much to maintain as far a video cards and a new motherboard and other stuff to run the CPU for today's gaming standard...

With that being said I'll be getting this for the Ps3...

The game still should be good IMO..

PS3. Hopefully Bethesda actually puts some effort into making all versions of the game run as well as they possibly can. (Not just the console you like to play on Todd)

If you made this poll in response to the threads talking about PC sales vs. console sales then the poll methodology is skewed. The sample size is too small and narrow in scope to give an accurate result that would mirror the total market. Most of the people that buy the game will never visit this forum.

I voted 360, btw. Regardless of having a PS3 and a very good PC, I simply prefer the 360 on my 60" plasma for gaming.

All the polls on this forum are absurd, they mean nothing for the reasons you sited and more.

The xbox version ofcourse.
But I'll have to wait and see what the specs are and which platform will support it the most.
For example, when getting Portal2 on the ps3 you get a free copy of the PC version with it.
