Possibly Claymore, followed by Longswords in both hands.

You forgot dagger. If it really has 10X sneak attack and cool assassination finishes then I'll really need to pick one up while escaping the execution. Voted for bows though since taking people out from a shadow pretty much the next town over is always fun. :gun:

I am looking forward to Bows as well, but I hope they give them a little variety.

I'd like to see both Short and Longbow varieties.

You know, Shortbow you can put a few arrows into someone relatively quickly, but they're more inaccurate at longer ranges, and don't get up to the damage potential of Longbows.
With arrows a rarer commodity, the Shortbow can have theoretically higher Damage per second than the Longbow, but each arrow packs less punch.

Longbows take a much longer duration to draw back, but Unleash powerful armor-busting shots that are accurate over long distances. While having lower DPS than the shortbow, the per-shot Damage ratio favors Longbows considerably.

In most games I always go for the longsword first but in The Elder Scrolls I'mma big fan of the longbow. Bring on the bows and arrows first, then the swords. :)

Axes, and I [censored] hope they do not receive the short end of the [censored] stick. This is the land of the nords! Axes should be loved!

Since Daggerfall Ive been a fan of using plain, unenchanted daedric longswords.
Im looking forward to seeing how daedric weapons will look, especially the long blades.

Claymore FTW
I just hope they don't look like longswords with ugly guards this time

Also, why can't we dual wield them? They only weigh like 6 pounds each
