What do you think is more beneficial for my character? Having the Sorrows leave Zion or standing and fighting against The White Legs? I dunno how to proceed. Is there any benefits to having them do either or?

Fighting against the White Legs permanently removes all White Legs from Zion while evacuating removes all Sorrows and Dead Horses which replaces them with White Legs. In addition, you get more experience and a better ending if you stay and fight.

Stay and fight. Not only does everyone stay but it is the good ending for everyone including Happy Trails Caravan.

There is no benefit to the Evacuation other than the achievement. I did it and everyone was gone, the ending svcked, and there weren't even any White Legs to fight, everything was just deserted.
