Which do you think is better Fallout 1 and 2 or New vegas and Fallout 3. Pick which 2 sides you think are better with fallout 1 and 2 on one and new vegas and fallout 3 on the other side

Fallout 1, because it is the model Fallout game, the original, the template, the base, the root, it is the example of Fallout, it is the most Fallout game out of all of them, because it is THE Fallout.

New Vegas' gameplay made as the originals were (of course with the technologigal advancements of today applied), would've competed for the top position. Sadly, this wasn't the case, so it remains in a third place after 1 and 2. 3 comes somewhere behind.

Lt.s right, you can't really compare the old and the new.

You could compare F1 and F2 to eachother and F3 and NV (but we already have a couple of hundred of those, :flame: 'd threads).

why doesn't anyone ever compare fallout tactics to brotherhood of steel, it's always 1 and 2 to DC and NV, or DC to NV, or fallout 2 to the album undertow by Tool... In the words or Rodney King "Can't we all just agree to disagree that comparisons between fallout 1, 2 and fallout DC, and NV are all moot points"

Sure you can.

But yeah, we don't really need multiple threads for this kind of stuff.

On the other hand, though, maybe filling these two out with the usual [censored] (borderline flames, actual discussion, bickering etc) will tire people up and postpone the eventual creation of the next one enough for it to gather some point to it again.

I love Fallout: 1, 2, 3 and NV.

I can't really say who is the best.

I like more Fallout 2 than Fallout 1.

I can't say about Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

But the old games and new games, they're all good. But so different...

1) Fallout because it started it all

2) Fallout 2, a very close second.

3) Fallout New Vegas because it true to the Originals

4) Tactics, I am a svcker for a good story

5) Fallout 3, fun but not a great Fallout IMO. (Still canon though)

So as for the OP's question I like Fallout & Fallout 2 more then Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

I do love them all, however. My plays with the originals were painful, and I eventually had to use somebody else's computer as the colours were all messed up on my laptop and it would blackout every few minutes.

So yeah, if anybody has any.. screw it.
