99% of people seem to prefer one-handed, so I'm curious.
I want to know how many people enjoy the might of a greatsword.

I use a War Hammer occasionally. But on the whole, they are too slow for my liking.
Warhammers. I prefer 2-handed weapons to one-handed ones.
Sure, it is fun to play the mysterious and dark character with magic and a blade.
But it is just as fun to make a barbarian slamming people into their graves.
So yeah. I use two-handed weapons, all three kinds I like. It is probably my favourite playstyle but they do not fit in my builds very often.
Greatswords for me. They just feel... heroic, you know.
Don't think its anywhere near 99%!
I love 2 handed greatswords. The only thing I don't ever use is Sword&Board.
i used them for the last half of my main characters play time, granted it was so i'd have another skill level...but the big compensatory swords really started to grow on me. Especially like the one from dragonborn that will shoot lazer waves
One of my character does. Personally I don't like them but it's her thing. She's my first character using a two handed weapon ever and Skyrim is my third Elder Scrolls game.
I learned to love the warhammer with Warcraft 3, so I've always seen the warhammer as more "heroic"
I tend to go either with a big two-handed weapon, or sword and board; not so much a fan of dual-wielding, one-handed fencer style, or sword / spell styles. Haven't had much success with unarmed builds either, even as an Argonian or Khajiit.
"The gods gave you two hands and you use them both for your weapon,I can respect that"
I prefer two-handed weapons over sword and board or sword and spell.
Warhammers are my favorite,I love the massive damage they inflict and the higher rate of stagger helps to make up for there slow speed.
50% of my warriors and 100% of my Battlemages all use 2H weapons. Well, I should say "a" 2H weapon. That would be the Greatsword. It's favored for the speed as well as the sheer look of the way it sets down on the player's back.
The only Two Handed Weapon I really do not like using is the Rueful Axe, because it is so slow. The Champion's Cudgel is slow, but it has Chaos Damage to offset the speed disadvantage. Hammers are not bad because they have reach and hit hard, but Mages can be a real threat when they go into run away and snipe Mode.
Love Greatswords, iffy on Axes, refuse to use Hammers. They just don't suit me, and most of them (except Orcish) looking pretty ugly to me :L
One of my characters uses two-handed hammers exclusively. Works out just fine. She used the Dawnguard hammer as soon as she could get there, and wound up with Volendrung eventually. Excellent damage, attack speed being a bit slower hasn't caused any issues at all. Crossbow for ranged backup.
Love greatswords, especially with Yukl's anim replacer.

Greatswords are boss, nordic carved ones especially.
My Imperial, the character I've put the most time into, never goes anywhere without his elven battle-axe of devouring. He even wore it the time he streaked from Skyrim's northwest corner to its southeast.
Two other characters favored two-hand weapons over one-hand ones, though their primary fighting style was not melee combat.
Only one of my characters uses 2 hand weapons... My Dunmer spellsword uses a 2 handed katana. The range on it really svcks compared to most 2 handers but it looks freaken awesome with his dumner outfit and hood.
