Not really. Like celebrities, the popularity of the Daedra on the forums is equivalent to how often they are mentioned in the game. Sheogorath, Azura and Hircine have all been portrayed in more detail in (what is practically) their own game or expansion.

Nocturnal is just a god with artifacts for thieves, there isn't much more to know about her and as secrecy is her essence, they'll never be unraveled which makes trying to discover them pointless. They might as well not be there, just the pretense of a secret.

I understand what your saying, but the absense of evidence, isn't the evidence of absense. I like her because you, me, or any lore buff couldn't write a book about the lady without trailing away or repeating itself. She holds secrets not mentioned, she has potentiel. I know that they are vague about her and yeah, she has thieving artifacts... woohoo... That's not my point, when I was mentioning thieves I was saying trying to say that I thought it was cool how a group of cold careless people like thieves would show respect to a cold careless god.

I may have strayed away from whatever poll this is, but regardless I like Nocturnal, even if she is never mentioned save a quest in Oblivion and little else.

Hey, off topic but did Hircine or Azura have thier own games/expansions? I'm sure they don't but I have only played TES3 & TES4 so I'm not sure.

...He meant the TES III main quest for Azura and Bloodmoon for Hircine.

...And please tell me you did not just quote Donald Rumsfeld...

I wont' say anything else at risk of including real life politics.

I voted Sheogorath because he's a funny dude, and Tedders is awesome, but I could very easily have voted for Malacath because he's the dark champion of the underdog.

Azura, because she's mentally stable.
None of the Daedra are really stable because they are change and, by my logic, change is inherently unstable.

Sheogorath(most easily relatable)
You find a mad man relatable?

Edit: My first post in over a year heh.

You know what? This is going to sound like a foolish thing to say but, I love Morrowind too much to finish any of the main quests, when I get "too far" I kind of just sub-consciousley stop and start over... I never want it to end. So I've spent years playing the factions and side quests, and have only completed about half the factions. Oblivion is another story, I don't "love" the game so I beat everything. But Morrowind is different. I always start over when I get too far, so I guess it was a stupid question. lol.

The only way to come back from that is by asking another stupid one. :biglaugh: I know Hircine made Lycanthopy possible and that has to do with werewolves in Bloodmoon, but is he directly involved? And I know Azura changed the Chimmer (which were self exiled altmer) into actually Dunmer after the tribunal assassinated Nerevar. And that she narrated the intro, and has the Azura's Star quest, but is she actually directly involved in the main quest?

And I got no idea who Donald Rumsfeld is...

Yeah, I'd say they are very much involved.
Spoiler
You get to meet Azura two times during the main quest and Hircine is the final boss of Bloodmoon and they're bth pretty much responsible for everything in their respective parts of the main storyline.

On which Daedric prince I like best, I think I'll go with Clavicus Vile because of his appearance in Redguard :hehe:

Is this even lore? :P
I voted Azura 'cause... she's the only daedra that gives a [censored] about us mortals. And she lives in a rose palace!
Seriously though... How come that Azura is so good according to human standards, when most of the other daedra aren't?
What's her bad side?

Too bad Haskill isn't in the list. I know he isn't a daedric prince but he still kicks ass and he can't be killed!

The Devil wears Prada.

If only we could see that side more often. But...I guess having it blatant in a game would not fit her, unless there's the Trial of Vivec going on in some flashback or something.

Actually, he's quite destructive. Well, he's considered to be one of the bad daedra. His sphere is "ordering" the lowest parts of oblivion, or something like that, and/or pestilence. I don't know, what he is, and I doubt much will be divulged into telling us WHAT he really is, but I'm going to assume he is an OCD pestilent daedric prince. Though, he does seem to be a pretty decent daedric prince. He seemed quite fond of the hero in Daggerfall, even if you decline his quest. Almost reminds me of a dragon version of Pappy Nurgle.

Voted for him also. I just hope we get to know more about him.

Which dragons are you referring to? I can't think too much atm, this stuffy nose is preventing me to think too clearly. All I can think of currently is that he chose that form as a mockery to Akatosh.

A mockery? Akatosh also arbitrarily orders and arranges things on a basic level.

Suggesting he is a discarded version of Akatosh, or something like that?
