Honestly, I finished with the beta weekend, made my comments with the /bug, /feedback tools. Had my issues with getting the game to load at times, but I remembered - This is Beta. Problems are supposed to exist and it was our jobs as testers to find and submit these problems to the Dev's. I did not login in expecting a polished streamlined game with no problems and smooth gameplay. What I did get, I was pleasantly surprised with, a storyline that I enjoyed and cannot wait to follow (Yes, I pre-purchased the game for myself, my wife, and our two oldest children - TAKE MY MONEY ZOS, PLEASE!!!)
We are not rich, so don't sit there and think I have money to hit every microtransaction store item out there. We just manage our money and our monthly entertainment budget goes to MMO's, sorry Blizzard, we are tired of the cartoons and want something more aesthetic. Sorry folks off topic.
People are complaining about the gameplay that the beta had. The quest lines were not hard to follow, and in truth I had no issues with mobs of individuals running around on the same quests I was on, it wasn't like hunting in the barrens in WOW and trying to collect Zhevra hooves with every other person out there hunting them, finally kill one and find out it has no hooves (how does an animal run around without hooves.) It wasn't even close to attempting to enter Pandaria when WoW first released it on and you had 1500+ individuals attempting to shoot the same barrels on the horde ships, just to land in Pandaria. I truly enjoyed what I was given privy to in regards to being able to play, and as far as any NDA's I was required to digitally sign, I was happy to sign it and if anyone asks I will tell them it will be worth the money if they are interested. The NDA's will be lifted eventually and when it is people will be pleased with what they see after the game is polish finished.
P2W and Imperial edition are two separate things. Yes I bought one IE so my wife and I could get married in game, but we won't get too much time to play together for the bonus, I work nights, and she works days. I get a pretty white horse for my riding pleasure, wait I had the chance to purchase the horse in beta but I preferred to run everywhere so I could see what I could see. I get to play an Imperial or change which faction my character will start with, bah, I have been Nord since Morrowind, and have always been loyal to my skald-king.
I just want to say this one more time, thank you Bethesda and thank you Zenimax for a wonderful experience this weekend, and I cannot wait for the first day of actual gameplay.
