White Skin Bug

Post » Sat Dec 18, 2010 12:01 pm

Hi,

I have a Problem that i have also in the Past. But now, i install Fallout3 again and the same Bugs happen as they did before.

So, i was creating a new NPC with black Skin, and first time the hole skin textures were white.

Then i add the order "'bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1'' to my FALLOUT.ini and so the Face has the colour that i choose to have, but the rest of the body is still white.

What kind of bug is that? How can i fix it?

With the current game patches, ESP files will have white skin in-game.
Make your plugin file a master file and it should fix the problem.

I usually look into doing that when I am about to release the mod because you cannot edit a master file.

i read that before, that making the ESP a Master File will fix it. I hoped that there is another way, because it seams so that i have now make a master file for every new Companion that i made.

Why is this massive bug still there and nobody from these beth. people fix it? What a pity. Is there no thing like these "bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1" for the rest of the body?

When they stop making DLC, they stop making the patches. At least they fixed the bug where mods would not load at all...

Changing an esp to an esm is the only way to fix it that I know of. It works in my game, but as WillieSea said, you can't edit a master file. What I do is I keep copies of the plugin for editing purposes and use the master for testing.
