who agrees that the bear traps in dead money are pointless?

lately i've been playing dead money and i keep walking on bear traps that are set but i don't trip them??

do you agree that the bear traps in dead money are pointless or just buggy??

If you have the Light Step perk, then you don't trip the bear traps, or any trap or mine for that matter. Your followers will however, so it can help to disarm them for the ones coming behind you.

I don't find them pointless. Are you playing without using hardcoe Mode? If so it isn't such a big deal, but it is when you can't just use a stimpak to fix crippled legs.

And as CCNA pointed out, do you have "Light Step."

Heck no. Those things were a bane to the one character I had that didn't use lightstep. Same for the satchel charges on Loansome road. Got blasted out a window in a ruble building on sniper's nest twice. Died the first time, survived the second time because I shot one of the charges but didn't see the other. So I still had enough health to live the second time. I knew I'd love the perk like before on F3, but never did I appreciate it more than on Fallout NV.

DM non-hardcoe + Light Step is one thing.

DM hardcoe + no Light Step means you better watch your step. :teehee:
