who are we?

26 and female. Though I use a lot of mods in my game, I didn't start modding myself until very recently, and haven't released anything yet (though I have made a couple of small, simple mods for my own use).

17/m though I started playing at least 3 years ago when I was 13-14...
anyways I'm not much of a moder, I thought my self the basics to edit some already existing modes to my liking. Mostly houses. I used them to edit some NPCs and create a few minor balance things and maybe move some things that for some reason aren't positioned right but that's about it, nothing major... never created anything or scripted anything.

23, female, been modding since... wow, long time ago, probably high school. I play Morrowind because I can mod it, and mod because I can.

My first foray into modding (never released anything, my uber post apocalyptic Stalingrad type city mod never got far off the drawing board ) was with game called Total Annihilation, which was GOTY in 1997, 13 years since release you can still buy a new copy and yes people are still modding for it, fans went on to make a new 3d game engine for it , truly awesome what fans have done for the game, rather like Morrowind in some ways.

I never planned on modding Morrowind or ever releasing any but there were some texture seams bugging the life out of me so i though i'd make my own mini fix and get rid of them and other flaws i encountered and i discovered that modding for Morrowind is like falling into a pool of glue , the more you resist , the stickier it gets and the harder it becomes to break free , .... if possible ? ......ever ?

49/m Started playing in '03 but didn't have internet for a long time, so no mods 'till about '05. Started modding about a month later for my own use. Didn't release anything until about 18 months ago. I now mod more than play, but still play when I can. :) The sig says it all. :D

22/m, been modding since 2007. Now got my hands full with the new cities project, which I guess eventually will turn out to be a morrowind overhaul lol.

Actually I haven't played Morrowind for a year or so, guess modding took the breath out of me :D

As a twenty-something male, I was sure I would be in the majority... but at the moment the teenagers slightly outnumber us! I think that's pretty awesome; new, young people are still picking up Morrowind all the time. :^)

On the subject of the very young ones, a little brother of mine started playing Morrowind (and occasionally using my forum account on the Morrowind Summit, to my horror) when he was only six years old. I can't believe he's almost fifteen now, how the time flies!

I'm 15 and I started playing Arena and Daggerfall, as well. My 9 year old brother plays Morrowind, likes to occasionally play Daggerfall, and wants to play Oblivion, as well. New games spark interest in the old ones.

19/male, been modding since December 2008 (or at least that's what PES tells me, that's when I submitted my first mod :P).

The child slaves that the Tamriel Rebuilt team uses of course. How else do you think they can get so much work done?

I'm guessing it's short for Samir Al'Muhaada, which sounds more like a Middle Eastern terrorist. Who is this guy? I, for one, am worried.

Stuff it Greatness, yes on the Tamriel Rebuilt forums I'm Samir Al'Muhaada, a name I created for a book I may or may not ever write. I shortened it to SamirA since then and if it happens to sound like a terrorist oh well. Hey Greatness how about finishing a quest up one of these days. :meh:

Started playing morrowind on the xbox back in 06, started playing the PC version in 08. For the 4 years of playing I still have to complete the majority of the game :>

Also blog reader, povuholo was kidding :P

I started out playing games like Frogger on a TRS80 tape drive. PC gaming has come a looooooooong way since then.

It's nice to see so many people still getting into the game after all this time. I've been playing since 2003, and this game just blew me away back then. It pushed out Planescape Torment as my all time favorite game. It still blows me away when you add all the latest graphic replacers and MGE.

I will when someone helps me design them! It does help having something to claim.

Anyway, 'twas only a wee joke. I'm sure nobody minds if you're a terrorist or not...

16/male,

@SamirA, I certainly don't care if you are or aren't a terrorist, which you likely aren't.

I myself started modding recenttly. On a bit of a hiatus, in part because I'm on vacation away from my modding laptop, and also because applying for TR interior work and being rejected is denoralizing.

Started modding morrowind sometime on 03, when I was 12-13, because I was bored. Wasn't very good at it. Joined Tamriel Rebuilt in 04 and got good. I mod because I like creating.

Female going on 52. Hey, NOT OLD! Been playing the game off and on since it came out. Just started modding this year. Best game investment I ever made.

Wow there are some old farts around these parts. :whistling: Some people are also a lot younger then I would have assumed.

As for me, I am a 25 year old very handsome guy. :nerd: :whistling: I started playing either at the end of 02 or sometime in 03? Whenever one of my good friends brought the game over to my house. I had a few names prior to this one currently (Note to Mods: I was NOT banished so leave me alone, I just forgot my PW several times. ) I started modding towns and stuff like that, then I decided I wanted to make my own models and textures. :)
