I'm leaning towards blaming EA. They have really changed the face of gaming for the worst. I have a PS3 and bought it primarily for the exclusives (uncharted, God of War etc) and then had my PC for everything else.
However now, my faith in games released by major publishers for the PC is seriously faltering. PS3 may become my main gaming platform, which is a shame.

Electronic farts isn't even a company. It's cancer. They kill every good franchise and if they f*** me over with bf3 then never again will I buy something by EA unless it's a crysis 1 caliber

My point was, if not for those console parasites "Xcrax units", and it's inferior DX9 limitations, then the PC crowd could have enjoyed a DX11 experience.

I say it's PC gamer's fault. If Crytek didn't make a difference, If we did not fan and support it or buy it's games, then Crytek would still have to make a difference or dissolve. We got the **** sequel, thanks to supporting Crytek for their great games, supporting them from a sweat shop to a brand-name that can make money by selling half-assed spinoffs to masses.

Good point, your right when companies like that do get popular they can usually sell anything that has their name on it. In my opinion Crysis 2 shouldn't have had "Crysis" in its name, it feels totally different, even Prophet kills himself in the 2nd(i think) cut scene, he's had enough.

you, my friend, haven't finished the campaign. :p

i won't be spoiling it, but there's an awesome plottwist right at the end. and, there'll be a Crysis 3, the ending cutscene clearly shows that, lol.
