I think its time we get an offical body count of whos canceling their pre-order and who is sticking to it. This would also show that crytek needs to put more work into the game if theres alot.

One problem. Console players are not upset the way PC players are. Its the best looking game on consoles. Its sub par on the PC.

really? PC gamers are so caught up in complaining that their version is only 99.999999999% perfect that they become ignorant of others. you guys think you deserve everything and that you are better then everyone else. just because you made crytek doesn't mean they have to do everything you want them to especially considering the overall quality on the PC is already very good.

anyways maybe Xbox is happy with it but if you took a look at the PS3 section you would see that there are allot of people pissed off. I played both the PC and PS3 demo and both were extremely fun. trust me I feel for you guys not having the graphics options you deserve but be honest, the demo's graphical quality was only a bit inferior to crysis one's. (and yes I do have crysis one and can run it on very high). anyways if you look at the PS3 you will see some pretty bad frame rates and jaggies as well as connectivity issues. I feel as if the game is mostly very well done but I would like to see what needs to be fixed done. this means all versions not just PC which is fine.

thats my 2 cents.

ohh and lets not forget who gets the short end of the stick, Xbox had 2 demos and a beta and therefore over a month of time to play the game, then PC had what? 2 weeks? thats 14 days more or less and then comes the PS3 with the demo going up late Tuesday and staying around for, Wednesday and Thursday with it being taken down Thursday night. and thats in the north america in Europe they got the demo on Wednesday I believe. we had the demo for about 2.4 days considering that it arrived late on Tuesday. Also that is ignoring the fact that you could only join matches once out of 15 tries at best, most people never even got to play it due to connectivity issues.

I rest my case and /rant.

yeah they complain about having the demo for 2 weeks when PS3 only gets it for less then 3 days and most people cant even play it. at least the PC demo was playable. but most PC players think the consoles have it all and that they are the ones left standing in the mud when its the other way around.

you have to consider that xbox was released in 2005, so it has much older hardware than my pc...
I think the graphic difference is to small between a 6 years old xbox and my brand new GTX 580 and so i think it could look better on pc

you need to stop assuming things

in particular

1: The PS3's version could look better: yes it couyld ONLY if the game was made solely for the PS3 and I know you know this. the largest problem is the fact that the RAM on the PS3 is locked 50-50, fopllowed by the not so great (even at release) GPU, followed by bottleneck architecture. IF a game is developed SOLELY for PS3 it will look great otherwise......not so much

2: if Crytek had developed only for PC the game would have been set on a tropical island with a gigantic single map: You do not know this, the same was said about Dragon Age Origins, but the game was the way it was even BEFORE the console port was shehorned by EA

3: Console players are uncultured, ill mannered, moronnic children: we are not

hmm I wouldn't know about Xbox cause I I don't have one but also from what I'm hearing they have the best version. I'm still getting it for PS3 and maybe later the PC version although I'm not sure since it did not run very well even though crysis 1 can run on very high on my PC. and it said the graphics card on my PC was not supported. played it at a friends house on PC and it was very fun.

yeah I understand you guys wanting the best from your machines but the point we are trying to make is that PC players never really care about the consoles. what about the guy that cant afford a PC for gaming yet still wants to play a great game? is it right to deny him a quality console game so that PC players can have exactly what they want?

what people don't understand is that everyone has to make compromises and give up somethings nut what I have found over years is that PC gamers are usually not willing to do that and want the game made to their liking at the cost of the console gamers who also deserve a quality game, after all our money is just as good as PC gamer's.

I had no choice. At this time I have built a very nice sandy bridge/GTX 580 system to play Crysis 2 and we get no info at all. I don't know if DX11 even exists on this game yet so I have cancelled my preorder and I will be moving on to better things. I'm not sorry Crytek. You've betrayed your PC community for console money, I hope you're proud of yourselves. DICE has my attention now.

yet DICE is also making battlefield 3 for consoles. as for DX11 the devs have said that it will be in the game. but do as you wish, its your right.
