who complained about the nano viosion in the demo?

its impossible to play now, campers with cloak everywhere.
just sitting in corners behind stuff and you cant see them from over 10 feet.
im complaining now because i just got the game (i did a preorder).
screw dx11 those damn campers are killing the game.

Nanovision was overpowered in the demo and its fine in retail. Get better at spotting Cloaked players. Sorry your in-game wall hack was removed.

You can hear an omenous sound when someone is cloaking nearby and you can use proximity alarm.
And furthermore, in case they have radar jammer equipped, your radar will indicate their presence.

Actually, Crytek could make the nanovision more sensitive to targets that are still.
Like exposure time, exposure leaves a trail if the target is moving, but if stationary, the image would become brighter and brighter in a short time so that stationary targets soon become clearly visible.

It was way to overpowered in the demo snipers could just sit in the corner of Pier 17 and pick people off with ease, and it could see through thin walls. How it is atm is quite balanced I find and if you're getting killed by someone in a corner cloaked just cloak up yourself and when you're close enough to corners in which campers like to sit wake on nanovision and have a look. Or just play more get used to where people hide and be aware of when you're in their sight lines. I think I've died maybe 3 times to someone camping in a corner with cloak on.

Bear in mind most cloakers won't switch to Maximum armour before shooting - leaving them with no energy.

Be alert and MA quickly to earn an easy kill.

i will admit that cloak the way most people use it, really hurts the multiplayer. i dont want to play the whole game in nanovision mode please.

proximity alarm/cloak tracker/visor enhance just an example of 3 mods that can help you see cloaked people and there are more.

Wow... You're not very good at this game are you? Nanovision is still overpowered in my eyes. Anything that removes the use of an ability entirely is overpowered. You don't stand in the middle of the map cloaked, you'll run out of energy and be vulnerable. You get behind corners and peak and wait for moments to advance with full energy to back you up. Someone can run by with cloak and Nanovision with imp visor perk (lowers cost of nanovision) and just take you out in a heartbeat. Granted that's a specific scenario but it happens a lot.

I did. The nanovision was good, but it ruined the game. Everyone just sat in nanovision the whole time and you could even see people through walls. You might as well just have made a shooting gallery for the sniper rifle.
