Who did you sell your soul to? (Marry)

Is Lisette available? Women don't get much better than a pretty bard with good voice who lives for the joy of music and good times.

I would prefer Lydia if I didn't have to use the console to cheat: Because at this point you can't marry her.

yep, just wish she didnt have the obvious sarcasm when I ask her to hold something for me lol.

Thanks for the post! I originally planned to marry Lydia but for a couple reasons I decided not to. 1. im on ps3 so glitch wont let me. 2. seemed like *everyone* wanted to marry her. This probably sounds rude but I also want to drag Mjoll away from that annoying little guy that follows her around all the time.... she's mine! Rawr! XD

I've heard that there is a bug where he will follow her even then.

Ahh well funny story .. i was wearing my amulet of mara.. i was doing some smithing while in riften and decided to talk to the blacksmith to sell some stuff.. having clicked the A button too many times the only bit of the conversation i saw was "i am, are you" or something to that affect so i replied in the same way.. then tried to cancel the wedding at the temple and he just said the wedding will be the next day .. so i turned up planning on saying no at the altar (im aware its harsh but it saved me needing to bloody my weapon) but i was tapping A hoping to skip through the rest of the ceremony and accidently said ... i do .. :(

I seriously laughed at this. Especially the part where you basically made the same mistake twice with the "A" button XD. Good job mate! and sorry about the misfortune, good luck with helping your blacksmith disappear.

Agreed. I wanted to marry her, but the bug prevents it. I tried the console but that didn't seem to work either. Then I feared it might screw up my game, so I went with Aola, or whatever her name is, the housecarl for riften. She's just as good,, might replace her instead or Lydia for traveling around with. And she is acually nice and courteous when I try to run by her, or bump into her lol.

"I am sworn to carry your burdens!" What I like with Lydia is giving her all the staffs that we find and then watch her dual wield them in battle. On the down side I tend to get hurt a lot in the process.

I went with Ysolda, because she's a friendly, good looking shy girl that hasn't seen a lot of the world. This makes her cute. It's also the typical 'wife's at home while the man is killing monsters' role playing aspect.

Killed my wife Mjoll's annoying little follower Aerin. Waited till he walked outside the city (Markarth) and then I ebony-axed him in the back. Took a suprisingly nice amount of gold from his corpse and a good ring for smithing. And Mjoll is none the wiser. Excellent.

If you kill him she gets all sour and sullen towards you for awhile, though I hear it passes in time.
Just think of him as an extra butler, that you beat while Mjoll sleeps...

-beat to the punch-
Though I could use a smithing ring, and haven't picked a wife yet.
-goes looking for Mjoll-

Nope, if you tell her to follow you in your house, then tell her to wait, Aerin will start to walk back to his house in riften. If you follow him and kill him while unobserved she never goes sour.

Oh my god just saw a really funny NPC interaction... I dropped some dwarven centurion dynamo cores to decorate my house with and apparently both Mjoll my wife and my housecarl Argis in Markarth saw the items. Well Mjoll threatened that if she didnt pick up the items first, she would hurt him. Argis shot back that "it could be arranged". Well I picked up the cores to elimitate the tension... apparently Mjoll didnt like that because a second later she axe'd Argis in the back and I had to reload XD. It was really... really funny.
