Who did you sell your soul to? (Marry)

Oh my god just saw a really funny NPC interaction... I dropped some dwarven centurion dynamo cores to decorate my house with and apparently both Mjoll my wife and my housecarl Argis in Markarth saw the items. Well Mjoll threatened that if she didnt pick up the items first, she would hurt him. Argis shot back that "it could be arranged". Well I picked up the cores to elimitate the tension... apparently Mjoll didnt like that because a second later she axe'd Argis in the back and I had to reload XD. It was really... really funny.

Mjoll runs a tight ship it seems.

I haven't yet found an argonian that looks somewhat like the lusty argonian maid I have painted in my mind..

Might be because such clothing doesn't exist in Skyrim. :whistling:

I picked Aela. I liked the idea of a wife that would be good to take along in a fight. What closed the deal is that she is voiced by Claudia Christian and it's like having Susan Ivanova call me "dear"

Well gee, I WANTED to marry the death-obsessed gothy Redguard in Falkreath, but I can't because...well I don't know why. But I do get to choose the only OTHER available Redguard. Woo, choices!

Derkeethus!

I think we be a rare deal my friend cause I did as well. Argonian voices are just sooo smooth I cant help but swoon! Shame hes a bit broken and never goes to the new nest.. Always the Mine... Buuuut hes very handy with a bow, shooting from behind as I stab mages with my dagger.

You can always get a divorce, like this guy did...

On a more serious note.

Since divorce is not actually an option in Skyrim, you can use these console commands if you are not happy with your choice of marriage.

Kill your spouse
Enter console command resetquest RelationshipMarriage
Remove the Amulet of Mara from your inventory.
Enter console command SetStage RelationshipMarriage 10
Use console commands resurrect and setrelationshiprank player 4 on your spouse to resurrect them.

After following these steps you can get a new Amulet of Mara and find a new partner to marry.

(Since console players do not have the ability to use console commands, the only way to truly be rid of your spouse is by murdering them.)

They haven't quite tied the knot yet, but Farkas hasn't left my character's side ever since she could take him along and I have the feeling it won't be long before she'll propose.

I married Brelyna Maryon, the Dunmer mage from the College. I could swear she has the same voice as Liara T'soni from Mass Effect, cant find any credits though.

I'd really want to marry Eola, might try it some day using the console. Brelyna at home and Eola as a companion on the road is good too.

Vilkas for my current Nord female. They didn't get along at first, but by the time the companions quest line ended she was so smitten with him that I really had no choice in the matter. (It does help though that I do find Vilkas to be good looking though. :P)

I guess I'm one of those weird folks, who married a male NPC. o_O

It's only weird if your character is male.

I married a girl named Sylgja, from a little town called Shor's Stone. She's one of the prettier NPCs, and she's got a really nice personality; call me old-fashioned, but I like nice girls a lot more than manly warrior women.

My Imperial lady married the innkeeper at Ivarstead, Wilhelm. She did that after having taken part in the war against the rebellion and I thought it was a suitable ending to her career. They now live happily ever after.

I've only married off one of my characters.
