Love it. Played singleplayer for 11 hours straight, beat it, then loved multiplayer. :D

I am in love with Crysis 2, the only problems I am seeing are connection based issues in multiplayer.

A lot of Multiplayer lobbies I get into never start... it will count down and just restart the countdown over and over.. and if I finally get into a lobby it will lose connection 90% of the time :/ I have never had connection problems on any system or pc at my house so I am believing it is something server side or a game issue.

This game is so sick. I can't wait to get an SMG. I am at level 12 and I only need like 50 points to get to level 13 and my wife came home and I had to shut it off!! Tommorow morning couldn't get here any sooner. See you on the streets!

This game is amazing, best graphics and gameplay i ever have seen in a game (on console). Still you will always have those little biches who just treat this game like any other FPS (crap COD) FAIL at the game. Then bich bich bich.

Defianatly a thinking mans shooter compared to other stop-and-pop Fps's, ive only completed a couple levels but i keep replaying them cuz theres so many diffrent ways to approach the game. Its a breath of fresh air for console-only gamers who are suffucating in the swath of CoD clones

Played Crysis, Warhead and now Crysis 2. All three game are great. Nice graphics, nice gameplay and I love the story though I still feel that Crysis 2 is a step back by going the DX 9 path. Yeah, it looks like the prettiest DX 9 game, occasionally looking better than Bulletstorm but seriously, I would love to see some Geometry Shaders and Tessellation in action and the water rendering is really cheap. DX 9's soft shadowing and particles still loses out to the first two games and I can see them despite the so call fast pace nature of the game. Multiplayer, nah, didn't try it out cause I'm not a multiplayer type of gamer.

Conclusion:

Greatness: Story, Gameplay, Modified aliens and Vertical environment
Ugliest: Graphics

And I hate the fact that the game is released for consoles. And I have nothing to boast about; Saying to my friends that I have the best gaming system and Crysis 2 is the only game that tax my system at extreme DX 11 setting. But I guess it's just me.

ive played other fps on xbox too but crysis 2 just really beats them graphically and story hands down.
I only found it disturbing those sewer times with infested humans. (sometimes got a little spooky about if theres gonna be zombies, i hate zombies xD they always jump to the face... like in Halo)

But its great when you can choose, stealth or kill! and how to kill!

Yeah I have played singleplayer and totally loved it .. it took about 12 hours complete on soldier ... next shot supersoldier ... but for now some multiplayer action ...

There have been problems still, this game totally kick ass. I am just hoping that Crytek sends out patches soon to fix problems in singleplayer and multiplayer. I am sure they are working their butt to fix

I would say there is no point of hating consoles or pc, everyone is getting the chance to play one of the best games.

it is fair to say that crysis 2 for pc may be disappointment for enthusiasts but still its looks ten times better than consoles...

I am just disappointed with AI going dumb and mutliplayer network stability is random, lag seems little less but still it is not stable

it would be great to see everyone can enjoy 5 green bars and have awesome time

Most fun I have had in multiplayer in years. Campers can't see me coming. Slight lag issue in 1 match other than that, PERFECT

I think the game has a lot of potential. However, all the following elements really turn me off:
- Not very precise controls (thumbstick) with it comes to aiming people at medium to long range
- Blurry graphics when I'm sure CryEngine 3 can be as sharp as the first Gear of War
- A lot of Frame Rate issues
- Connectivity issues in multiplayer
- The nano suit and abilities are cool, but I feel Armor + Camo + Radar are just cheap stuff to have in such a competitive multiplayer game.

Sure the game is fun.....a few hiccups with the multiplayer on a game such as this in the first week is normal.....just hope they fix some issues to make it even more enjoyable.

And I hate the fact that the game is released for consoles. And I have nothing to boast about

Why?

We didnt get to play the first one, and alot of people who only own consoles are absolutely jazzed about being able to play this somewhat legendary game, that stomped on pc's and disintergrated graphics cards. Since Crysis' launch on the PC, Ive always lamented the fact that I'll never be able to play it without buying a very expensive rig, just for that game - something I'm clearly unwilling to do when I have a PS3 and an Xbox sitting at home. The sequel has given me, and everyone else who felt the same way the chance to get in on the action. Why would you deny us that? S you can say "I can play crysis and you cant, suffer in your jocks"? Do you also want to laud it over people that play on the same platform as you but who have insufficient hardware to play it?

Asides from the fact that Crytek undoubtedly want their game to be played by as many people as possible for the same reason that directors want people to watch their films, or authors want people to read their books, the injection of cash coming from the console market will allow crytek to expand, and refine their game production - leading to what will hopefully be bigger, stronger, better games. Bringing them out of just being a PC developer, and hopefully become something of a potential juggernaut in game development.

As I understand it, the PC release has better graphics than the console release, so I dont see what your problem is with Crytek trying to capture their little piece of what is frankly, an enormous audience.

I am glad in a way they had to dumb the graphics. I played Crysis and Warheads but alot of others I knew didn't have the power or afford it to play on full high res like myself. Now more players can come into the fold and enjoy the work of Crytek. Feels kinda funny that I say this because I mostly hate it when companies dumb a game down and turn it to crap..lol

I just got the game and played for a few hours and I really was impressed. I don't see any problems with it and think it's fantastic. I think people just like to complain about anything and everything. Multiplayer works just fine, no hiccups or connection problems here. it is a great FPS...
