And I hate the fact that the game is released for consoles. And I have nothing to boast about
Why?
We didnt get to play the first one, and alot of people who only own consoles are absolutely jazzed about being able to play this somewhat legendary game, that stomped on pc's and disintergrated graphics cards. Since Crysis' launch on the PC, Ive always lamented the fact that I'll never be able to play it without buying a very expensive rig, just for that game - something I'm clearly unwilling to do when I have a PS3 and an Xbox sitting at home. The sequel has given me, and everyone else who felt the same way the chance to get in on the action. Why would you deny us that? S you can say "I can play crysis and you cant, suffer in your jocks"? Do you also want to laud it over people that play on the same platform as you but who have insufficient hardware to play it?
Asides from the fact that Crytek undoubtedly want their game to be played by as many people as possible for the same reason that directors want people to watch their films, or authors want people to read their books, the injection of cash coming from the console market will allow crytek to expand, and refine their game production - leading to what will hopefully be bigger, stronger, better games. Bringing them out of just being a PC developer, and hopefully become something of a potential juggernaut in game development.
As I understand it, the PC release has better graphics than the console release, so I dont see what your problem is with Crytek trying to capture their little piece of what is frankly, an enormous audience.
