As in no attributes and the inclusion of perks.

I personally think it's gonna be great.

Wait a sec, are they changing the way you level up into experience, or are they keeping the 'Raise skills' way.

It could be great if they have enough perks and modifiers to keep every character from being generic. Not sure how they will make race/gender and other intricacies unique, but Im confident they figured out a way.

I dont mind defining my characters skills, but I at least want to feel like he is his own person, with his own strengths

You should post your thoughts in one of the million other threads about this issue. Think of the horses.

It's still 'raise skills', it's just not the '10 major/minor = 1 character level' system.

I think the new system should be good. There are more interesting/immersive ways to deal with it but this way is more efficient. Definitely excited to experiment with perk trees. It's essentially like 'Feats' from D&D or the skill tree from Diablo, both of which are excellent systems

I think they are going with XP system, how would raising skills work with perks? I honestly have no clue thats why im asking.
Gain a level, gain a perk.
Raise... 5 skills, gain a level, gain a perk? Actually that does sound right... though... whats the point of raising a weapon skill if its modified by perks.... Hmm.

Is raised skills confirmed at all? I greatly prefer that system over an XP one.

The weapon would get more powerful, and with perks you could get combos/finishers?

Only thing I don't like is that it apparently is a lot faster to level. I think leveling should be slower, not faster...
