Not going to trade it away but Obsidian seriously need to divide the Hoover Dam into three sections for the xbox.
I went to do Arizona Killer quest and the low fps rate gave me flashbacks of the old days of playing Counter-Strike on high ping server.

So yeah, sometimes it can get incredibly low fps but it's still playable and very enjoyable.

Well i loved Fallout 3, but was waiting to see what issues this game had. And from what i see, this game seems like a wasted 60$'s. My last mistake was Fallout 3 Game of the Year. That game freezes up so much, i'm lucky to be able to play an hour and a half w/o a freeze. But how you guys still manage to buy a product from a company that doesnt seem to fix anything from one game to the next, is beyond me. The whole idea behind fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas is indeed excellect, but the finished product leaves much to be desired. I was so excited for this game too. :shakehead:

I can't say much about the 360 version, but the PC version is pretty damn stable for most people. Don't let the loud complainers convince you otherwise. On another board, a poll with over a hundred responses shows over 90% of PC users there are seeing little or no technical issues with the game. So it's not a universally messed up title and seems (to me) to be exagerrated at least when it comes to the PC version.

I'm more or less worried about getting another game that freezes and crashs constantly. I've play alot of bethesda games for the Xbox Xbox360 and the Ps3 and all see to have issues freezing up and having to hard reset. I mean i know i can just save every 10 mins but, the principle of the thing is, whats the deal with Bethesda and their games? Morrowwind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and now Fallout New Vegas all having crash issues?

I gave up and returned mine to Amazon this morning.

If you haven't experienced the lag/freezing then count yourself lucky, for me it was completely gamebreaking. It constantly lagged as I was walking around, and in VATS or when enemies were on screen it was terrible.

It would constantly pause for a second or 2 making me fear it had frozen, and then there were the multiple times it did freeze, causing me to lose progress!

I don't mind minor glitches, but when it makes the game unplayable enough is enough!

My copy was for the PS3.

The lack of official announcement on whether they were working on a patch for the freezing issues also contributed to me returning it.
