All I really need is the fix on X360 about HD textures and some other minor bug fix here and there...
Some tweaks about Dragons would make me VERY happy :D

I wouldn't expect any kind of rebalancing or changes like that. Historically Beth doesn't do much about exploits. I would expect maybe some UI tweaks on pc, like the conversation ui sticking. Major changes like bugging and needing and rebalencing would be dlc territory imo. I'm excited for some minor tweaks nothing major, hopefully all mechanical and behind the scenes.

Are you forgetting the grab feature needs tweaking with? At the moment it's the worst grab feature in all of Bethesda's games. That and if they could stop my house exploding everytime i enter it, getting kinda tired of spending 15 minutes putting my butterfly jar on the shelf, it's enough of a chore as it is.

I'd honestly like to see them fix dragons so if you're flanking them and they hit you with their wing they send you flying back.
Right now there is no reason for me to stand in front of the dragon at all.

Oh, you will be here to post, like I am doing now... And then you will understand what it is like to walk in my shoes...

No way to revert back to what worked, and just sitting around waiting for the NEXT fix... In the hopes that it fixes the new problems it created for you. Though, I hope it does not harm your game, as I am already jealouse that many here can play, where mine keeps failing me.

Having an option to "bypass" updates, as they come... would be great... like how the "Onofficial Oblivion patch" was... You could just disable it if you found it broke something along the way.

On steam you can turn off automatic updates for a game, but once you get it you can't take it out. Also I think if you load the game from scratch it will always include the most recent patches.

For those who want to turn off automatic updates in Steam, right click elder scrolls skyrim in your library, choose properties, click update tab, use drop down to avoid automatic updates. So far it has worked for me, though I have heard some people say that they got updates anyways on some games.

Its already been stated texture, framerate and freezing issues across systems are top priority for the next patch. I'm guessing some of major quest and house bugs MIGHT be included. I wouldn't hold my breath on the not so evident bug/glitches though and rebalancing, I'd say you are going to be waiting a long long time if you expect anything with that..

I am really excited. I hope they leave the smithing/enchantment/alchemy "glitch" out from the patch. It is good to know that u can abuse the game mechanics and OP yourself. ;)

For me the game always crashes after about 10 min (360), all I can do about it is empty the xbox cashe and try again. So annoying... I hope they will fix that and the texture issue. It is an awesome game but it's just becoming more and more unplayable for me... Worked fine the first 15 hours though.

They must have been working on it for some time before the game's release, so hopefully it will be chock full of goodness. I expect lots of fixes, and maybe even balance tweaks (hopefully). It can only make an already great game better.

But the floodgates of excitement will only be open when the CK is released :celebration:.

I am sure it will be full of bug and technical fixes. Even though I have not had enough tech issues that hampered my enjoyment, I know there are many that have. Unfortunately, that is most likely the only thing that will be addressed, and none of the very important gameplay alterations (fixes) that need to be done. So no, not really excited about a tech fix.

As a general guideline, I won't expect anything until I see a list of changes.

I'm already hearing the complaining when one thing someone has been expecting, isn't there.

Last time they released a patch, it broke my Skyrim and wouldn't let me load it up until I went and "procured" a TESV.exe file which would let me atleast load the game I paid 60 dollars for.

I don't think "excited" is the word to use to describe my feelings towards the upcoming patch.

My only concern is; what will happen to those of us that have a perfectly working game? While this patch may fix things for those of you who are having massive issues with it, I fear that this patch may have an opposite effect for the games that are working fine.

I was exactly like you. I had no issues in the game for 50+ hours.

...and then out of the blue....the .exe

runtime error R6025

In general I think that Bethesda did a great job patching Fallout 3 and FONV.. most quests did not break and the fixes were sorely needed.

Since Skyrim is a similar game, I am optimistic!

I am as well. That runtime error I got kinda ran me for a loop.

Bethesda I don't mind a huge patch, really, cram as much fixed stuff as you can in that thing.

Then we can all play more Skyrim and be happy. :foodndrink:

I'm hoping it will allow me to play. Since the last patch I can't play more than a few minutes before the game freezes.

I'm certainly not experiencing any problems. The odd crash here and there once in a blue moon, but nothing game breaking. As long as it doesn't mess up my game, I'm all for it.

Hoping for dual wield balanced to make it less OP. I just made a redguard dual wield ranger and everything everyone is saying is that I will be too powerful...I may reroll to 2 handers...I hope it gets some balance.

I just hope the PS3 lag issue will be fixed!
I didn't have any lag until I hit 7mb. Then it started to lag big time and I quit and haven't played since.
