In all reality.. the settlers. The guys who are just trying to survive, grow food and just stay alive. Those are the only people worth trusting. They don't want to be in charge of anything, they don't want power, they don't want war. They just want a normal, safe environment to live in. Everyone else just tries to use you as a pawn in their own plot to control the world. The settlers are the only one who actually need you for defense.

At any rate.. in Fallout, the player is always Deadpool. You don't die. you regenerate.. (and reload.) Your kill rate is in the 1000's. You sit on the couch wisecracking as you kill your enemies. We are all Deadpool.

The minutemen though Deadpool is a close second so I say we try to recruit him into the Minutemen. In all seriousness though the minutemen are the type of protection the commonwealth needs. Someone the people can relate too. The Institute has caused nothing but trouble for the commonwealth. Sure you're technically made director but I would be willing to bet every cap I have that someone on that board will try to have you killed.


The Railroad are a well meaning organization but they're to small and are probably not going to last much longer when the institute is gone. The west coast factions aren't going to be a factor due to the mere distance they have to cross to get to the commonwealth. The Brotherhood? I wouldn't trust those jokers with sugar bombs. Unless they are willing to drop thier fanaticism I see them at best as a bunch of occasionally useful jerks. At worst the second biggest threat to the commonwealth.


They were alright under Lyons but Ahab Maxson is to busy chasing his white whale to see they are endanger of becoming just like the enclave. The East Coast Enclave aren't in shape of running much of anything. Even if they were it's unlikely the commonwealth would trust them.

I still barely even know who Deadpool is, but I hear about him constantly. I'm ready for this fad to pass.

And the Atom Cats are the best faction for the future of the Commonwealth.

He is pretty much Marvel's version of Deathstroke. But instead of being a serious character he jokes around, breaks the 4th wall any chance he gets, and a pain in the ass to other Marvel characters mostly Wolverine and Cable.
