Is there a source to the lore that mentions the Dunmer and the origins of ebony armor? I seen some posters mention that Dunmer were taught to make ebony armor by a Dardric Prince. In Tribunal Almalexia's guards wore a Dummer armor made of ebony and I once read that Tiber Septim took over Morrowind's ebony and the Dunmer then only used it as a ceremonial armor. Almalexia is one of the Chimer who the Dunmer come from so I'm guessing that that must be an example of the ceremonial armor memtioned and the other ebony armors we see in Morrowind and similarly in Oblivion are post Tiber designs. The Nords have their own ebony armor design in Skyrim (worn and used by Draugr confirming the age and use of design) which looks more like European plate armor but the weapons look a cross between ancient Nord (the axe) and Dunmer (the sword) so perhaps the ancient Nords copied it and adapted it from captured Dunmer design.
All of this however is about the posible origins of ebony armor and none explains how the knowledge of throwing a Daedric heart into the furnace came about. Is it the knowledge of forging Daedric that the Dunmer were taught rather than just to use ebony as a material to craft (which it seems can't be that difficult as every smith in Tamriel seems to manage it quite comfortably)
