So, who's going to mod for Skyrim?

Post » Tue Sep 06, 2011 7:33 am

Forgive me if I post this here but the Skyrim forum is under siege by a horde of 13 year old brats who don't know when to stop and there's little chance to start a decent thread without seeing it on the 10th page by half an hour. Moreover, I would like to ask this question mainly to the Oblivion modders, so here I am. Just out of curiosity, do you plan to move to Skyrim?

I am, yes. I don't want to start too early as using the CS/CK is a sure-fire way of ruining the ending, but I'm hoping to start relatively soon after release.

I'm 36 and I dislike blabla topic's by 13 year olds also, but this is still the wrong forum to start a topic like this.

Yes! But what kind of Mod depends on Skyrims story line :)

I'll most likely begin modding Skyrim before I even make my first character. I'll be changing Skyrim's timescale from 30 down to something more reasonable.

Me. If the OB community sticks around like the MW one did I'll probably help out with OB modding here and there, but I plan to move my main efforts to Skyrim.

We already have plans to have part of tDBC take place in Skyrim. And Amajor7 and I have talked about porting Imperial Furniture over if the opportunity presents itself.

I think some modders will just play the game all the way through first while writing down everything they don't like or think should be changed as they play. Sounds most efficient way to me.
