So who is going to be the "Famous" actor in Skyrim?

Post » Sat Oct 09, 2010 5:47 am

Having Lynda Carter for the female Nords is perfectly fine with me. Having Lynda Carter for the female Orcs ... not so much. I hope that each race will have their own voiceactor at minimum. Personally I'm hoping for 3 voiceactors per race.

As to famous celebrities next to Max Von Sydow, I hope they will keep it to a minimum this time around.

Let's see

Option 1 : Spend 90% on the voice acting budget on a couple of huge celebs, one of whom gets killed before the end of the prologue

Option 2 : Spread the voice budget across 20-30 competent, creative - but essentially unknown - voice actors.

Seems a fairly obvious choice to me

David Bowie should play some random high elf trainer out in the wild.

I wouldn't take advice from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOWJxmbzTRs&feature=related.

Christopher Walken. He should just be sat in the corner of a tavern reading random books out loud.

hahahaha! that would be epic! Add Russel Crowe as the local bar brawler that always gives strangers a hard time at the tavern, and I'm in heaven :)

I could care less about A actors.
I just want some decent voice acting (not Oblivion).
Also, I want the Dunmeri voices from Morrowind back. They actually sounded like Dunmer (instead like all the other mer).

Some have mentioned Ian McKellan, I would prefer the new Magneto, Michael Fassbender (Hunger, Fish Tank, Inglourious Basterds)

Michael Dorn needs to be in. Its probably too late for him to do the orcs, but at least one. I hung around Jacobstown (FONV) just to hear his amazing voice.

I'm sure that's a Daedric realm.

O/T; I remember having to watch that film while I was in New Zealand. Didn't know what to make of my visit after that.

Well, since it's already been confirmed that they will use a "significantly" higher number of actors compared to Oblivion and F3, I'm already satisfied.
Though everything audible needs a bit of Fry and Laurie.
I wonder if Lynda Carter will return. Seeing how Nords will be the majority in Skyrim, I wonder if there will try to find a new voice.
I for one like Lynda though.

Eh, Mr CEO will make sure this happens. Probably. More Wonder Woman!

You don't thin it's a classic? lol probably one of the more friendlier daedric realms :)
i would like to have Tom DeLonge as a voice actor in skyrim though, if anyone knows who he is :P

I didn't know what to make of it lol; Here I was in a foreign country, and all of a sudden I'm watching David Bowie dance with puppets. My mind went into a boggle overload. :P

And Tom DeLonge? Dammit!
Spoiler
Even though Mark Hoppus actually sings on that song.

At first I was like "what?" Then I did a google.
Yeah! At least I know Lynda will be in.
... Is it weird to have a crush on someone who is thirty years your senior?
... Like I care I have a crush on Sarah Brightman too.

NO WAY

The experienced film connoisseur in me just had a Pulmonary Adema. This guy is legendary. He was in Shutter Island lately, which you may have seen.

Whatever famous person they have voiced in better have more than just a paragraph worth of lines before their character dies... and get a game award for it. <_<

I'd rather hear Max and a large cast of non-celebrity voice actors. Then again, if Bethesda hired Chrisopher Lee and Brian Blessed...

There is no actor by the name "Brian Blessed".

There is, however, one named BRIIIANN!!!!! BLEESSSSSED!!!!

(Nod and chuckle if you get the joke :P )
