Who had the greatest adventure?

I did not miss the point, but he didnt do anything that impressive. He took control of a tribe, trained them so they are much superior then any other tribe, and then takes down any neighboring tribe, the weakest first, and gains power that way, smart move, but i dont see that as a exiting adventure or anything, all he did was train a tribe and wage war. what i think i was saying (i got a short memory sometimes, depending on what i have done since then) is that the BoS are trying to fight for others. It is related to what u said, unless ur making a dumb comment that makes no sense and had nothing to do with what i said at first, then it is related. BoS fight the super mutants, and over the years both numbers have diminished, along with the outcast leaving the BoS, which makes the BoS numbers even lower. They cant just abondon their goal, plus they get most new recruits from the wastelanders, and if they are defending the wastelanders then that means they get recruits to man their armor. Lyons alteast tries thats all im saying

The BOS on recruiting is a bit hit and miss for me because they wouldn’t just recruit anyone and even then give em the good stuff so they are very selective and im pretty sure mostly idiots would join the BOS “Hey guys join the BOS and fight the super mutants for erm....nothing?” then they deny recruitment to people who do prove them selves (example being outside GNR)
Also have you seen the super mutant population and then compare it to the BOS population?
Also from supplies that can easily ware out if not careful and if the super mutants destroy the power armour and make unsalvageable they could easily lose there edge plus making sure they have good stockpiles of microfusion cells they wouldn’t give that stuff to initates otherwise they would run out in a day to a week

I do like Eastern BOS(if need to be a little more dark) but they lack any long term goal other then try detain the super mutant threat and even with project purity they seem to lack a goal, just giving water to local populations.....wouldn’t it be more easier to like mentioned before try salvage basic water purifiers and give them to towns like megaton. They don’t even try to et up any form of government.

Whoa, there.. Whoa. It wasn't a case of "other kids playing with it so they wanted it" It simply didn't work before the LW was born. Everyone abandoned it, because they thought it would never work. Not just BoS, but RC scientists and even James. Then James happens to find out that a GECK may be the key while he is in Vault 101. BoS are not privy to this info, so there's no way they would just go "HEY! There is a GECK in vault 87, which is on our map!" No one had any clue about the GECK being the key to PP until waaaaaaaaaaay after the fact. And why did the BoS go back to project purity? because "other kids" were playing with their toy? No.. They went back, because Dr Li called in a favor after she told them that James had figured out how to make it work but was killed by the Enclave- which they weren't expecting to even be there. As far the the BOS simply beating up SM's and not doing much else. Do we know in great detail what was wrong with LP? I mean, they have been working on it for a long time. but let me just tell you, reverse engineering parts for something isn’t the easiest thing to do. Fabricating unknown replacement parts might also be a bit difficult. To just assume that RC scientists should have helped them rebuild LP is shortsighted. Dr. Li had other things she wanted to work on. And BoS don’t have a magic wand or the desire to necessarily help RC be restored to an air craft carrier. An entire dry dock, and enough cranes and other equipment would have tob e built from scratch to move it into said dry dock. And who does that benefit? Sure an Air craft Carrier could be cool. But RC already serves a purpose well enough.

Ok a aircraft carrier would be a wise thing to set up because it allows a safe haven from the wasteland for the wastelanders and allow more safer studies to farming and being self efficient as well as act as a good offshore base if the BOS ever need it, Plus the scientist(forgot his name the one hiding beneath the broken bows of the ship) before Li came along had the right idea of trying to make the city salvageable and floatable across the water. Im pretty sure with a fair bit of hard work it would be possible to making rivet city salvageable without a dry dock since it isn’t out at sea, dry dock would be nice but ultimately could be possible to at least give it a bit of distance between the land. Or at least recover the other part of the broken bowl in some way to make more room and liveable space.

Also if they couldn’t get project purity why still leave the place for super mutants to take over what is across the river from the BOS and right next door to rivet city. And the path which wastelanders would have to cross to reach rivet city is by project purity, the place could be used as small outpost for BOS and allow a safe route to rivet city for people and perhaps expand rivet citys hold by setting up trading and resting points around.
It just doesn’t make sense for the BOS to leave it undefended for mutants when its by a key place they want to protect and next to there own base.

Suppose they would care with enclave taking project purity as being next to there base and all (though I do give the enclave credit for setting up defenses) they would of perhaps act abit quicker and could of mounted a surprise attack beneath the sewers to Project purity while this was going on....put it to lack of man power

Who would they be doing this for? Are they supposed to just drop everything to rebuild an aircraft carrier that is broken in half and was pushed in by larfger than normal waves after a nuke war? I think you under-estimate what a huge undertaking this would be.

Given such a huge undertaking it would be, why would the BoS not just stay at the citadel, a higher level military structure, to begin with? Rivet City was founded separately from the BoS. And while the CWBoS may want to ultimately help the citizens of the CW, they aren't really doing it directly in any instance other than with PP, are they? So, what is their motivation for dropping everything to rebuild a possibly unsalvageable aircraft carrier? And yes, to make it an air craft carrier again, you would need a dry-dock, otherwise you cannot perform proper corrosion prevention on all fo the rusted out levels that are submerged and you would take on water, possibly even have a ruptured hull the first time you moved it anywhere and it began to pitch and roll.

How many things are there in the CW that could be of great importance if they were operational? This is Washington DC after all. There is a lot for them to do, besides waste time guarding something that might not ever work. This is why you see more BoS downtown than elsewhere. The Smithsonian museums are a treasure trove of pre-war tech and information. PP may be close to their base, but they have a body or water between them. Anyting coming across isnt going to go too fast. I dunno that I have seen any SM's swimming. Beside,s the Citadel is pretty well fortified, isn't it? The SMs on Their side of the river would be much more bothersome than the ones across from it. As for protecting the road to Rivet City.
They arent police. Even Lyons's group. IF they are to make way for safe passage to RC, then why not Canterbury commons? Tenpenny Tower?
What about south of megaton with all of those raiders? THey are busy in the DC ruins. This is pretty much said in game.

Considering that’s when they first realized that Enclave were around in the CW, i think it truly would be a cause for concern. Especially given they found out it worked at the same time they found out about the Enclave being there.
Its like a triple whammy.. "PP works, holy [censored]! But, James is dead? ;( and.... the .. Enclave is here "
Of course they would mobilze at this point.

Thats not what im saying, im not saying they have a long term goal, but they are the ones that are protecting the capital wasteland, and therefore the only hope it has for now (not counting the lone wanderer) as it is filled with murderous Enclave stormtrooper squad and super mutants along with merc hit squads and raiders. They try, and you gotta respect them. Augustus Enclave may be rebelling against Edens, but that doesnt ruin the fact that their squads are everywhere killing everyone..

Because from what his original objective was, to what he created and how much he achieved from this isn't an adventure?
He has went from the Boneyard to the Grand Canyon and then Vegas. He's probably been to all the other states he took over and the cities within them. Meaning he's seen more than anyone on his 'adventure'

We dont know enough of Caesars adventure to know how much area he really took over, all we know is Arizona (and idk but New Mexico too?) and Utah (not all of it)

Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Mojave. The latter being partially ventured, unless he specifically needs to cross the Dam, even then that's up to how our stories went.

We know the Legion Controls Arizona and are moving into New Mexico. We know they control Denver Colorado but we don't know if they have the entire state. We know they are moving into Utah and have the loyalty of tribes there, but we don't know if the control of the entire state.

Yeah we know that they dont control all of Utah, else the New Caanans would be wiped out for sure.
