Who has finished the game?

Post » Sat Sep 26, 2009 8:50 pm

Several times, all of them (Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon). Personally, I really love Morrowind's MQ. It just makes sense and is linear once you get to the end, which really imho makes it worth playing. And you get to do all kinds of cool stuff and it's just great. The whole atmosphere created by the Morrowind MQ (and the rest of the game too ^_^) is just unparalelled.

I finished it last month. I first bought Morrowind April 2010. But last month I started a brand new game and beat it in about 30 minutes after watching the speedrun videos on youtube. I think that is one of the coolest things about Morrowind is that the main bad guy is always there. Just like how Sadam Hussein was always whereever he was at.... we just had to know where to look. Same thing for Morrowind's story. So yeah, I beat the main quest.

Over several years and a variety of characters, I have finished all the main quests, side quests, misc quests, faction quests, vampire quests (etc.), explored 100% of my map, explored all dungeon, ruins, sunken ships and so on, found every unique or rare item, got to level 100*...And it still doesn't feel as if I am even close to beating it, mods or not. As has been mentioned by other people in this thread, the Morrowind experience is...Shall we say "infinite"...In that the experience drastically changes depending on how you play your character, mods or no mods.

*Possibly through inadvertently abusing the prison glitch, but I can't quite remember.

I've been playing since '03, and to this day I have still not completed House Redoran nor House Hllalu (the former I just never got around to playing through, the latter I would always just exploit) and I am pretty sure that I have never finished the Fighters Guild. Much everything else I have done, aside from may be most of the side quests besides some important ones. (Varro's quests come to mind)

I've finished the MQ twice. Once as a female Khajiit thief character, which was strangely fun to justify in my mind.

Both times were on the 360. Mods, and the feeling that I've done it all so many times before now, have hindered any attempts of progress on the PC.

I havent finished the MQ  I've been pretty close though. Or maybe I should say that I've gotten pretty far in the questline. The problem was that a certain priestess didn't understand that I had a certain set of titles already. I still have the savefile, but I don't like getting back to a character I've almost forgotten about and continue with it since it doesn't give the same immersion. But one day, I will do it. When I feel like it and when I think I will get the most out of it. That's the most important thing for me. My enthusiasm for making new characters doesn't help either, but I've gotten better thanks to my liking for my latest character.

I've been more successful with the expansions though. Tribunal has been completed once, and Bloodmoon several times, both paths. But other questlines are what I usually focus on.

As with Oblivion, I have not even begun on the MQ. Neither have I started Tribunal or the MQ for Bloodmoon. I enjoy too much just walking around, exploring and building my Nord character who btw resides on Solstheim

I have finished each main quest once. I cannot stand main quests in ES games, they always feel forced. I have slain Dagoth Ur on each of my main characters, but I used the back-path method because I wanted the cool armor and I'm lazy :P

Beat it when I was 12 and use, using the console to make my character retardedly strong + full daedric

Now I'm beating the game without any cheats and it is a much more fulfilling experience

so yes and no

I've beat the main quest several time, but it took me years to do it. I played Morrowind on the Xobx for seven years and never attempted the main quest. Then when I made the switch to the PC version I finally decided to give the main quest a try, and not every character I play finished the MQ at some point.

Haha, at the end I met with Vivec and got the Wraithguard, beat Dagoth Ur. After that I did the Bloodmoon main quest, then the Tribunal main quests... Once I was finished with all of those, I went back and killed Vivec and created another Wraithguard. There wasn't really much to do after that for me. So I turned to mods...

I am surprised to many votes of "No". I thought everyone would have done the main quest years ago. For me there hasn't been really anything to do in the game for a long time, except finishing the expansions, of course.

Unfortunately, my XBOX no longer works, so I cannot play the game anymore, which is a big shame. So far I haven't gotten enough inspiration to start a new game to do the other house quests and perhaps thieves' guild.

I've finished the main quest 3 or 4 times, finished Tribunal once but I'd only done a bit of Bloodmoon before I started modding. I stopped that game intending to play all the way through again after the mod was finished. I've given in though and have started again and hopefully this time I'll go all the way through with this character. So I still have Bloodmoon to play as well as a lot of new mods I haven't played before, so it's like a new game for me. I'll do the main quest again but it's not a priority.

I've played probably about 75 or more hours of Morrowind. I've never gotten out of Balmora in the Main Quest.

I've done the Morrowind Main Quest twice and the Tribunal and Bloodmoon Main Quests once each.

I really prefer sidequests, though.

Done all main quests, Redoran and Fighters Guild.

I also have completed the game, by killing everyone. It only took a couple of months :P

I've beaten the MQ of Morrowind at least once per year since the game came out. So roughly nine times give or take.

I've currently just started it again with a random character I rolled for a challenge - female Orc Pilgrim.

I finished the three MQs countless times. I never get bored playing them again though. The Morrowind MQ was magnificent, and so was the BM one. I did not enjoy the Tribunal MQ as much as the other ones, but it was fun. They were all better than the Oblivion MQ, I have to admit.

I got morrowind for the xbox in I think 2004, and have played it for at least a month every year since then, and have never finished any of the main quests. The only things I have ever finished are the mages guild and House telvanni (on different playthroughs.) In light of skyrim fever, I've bought a decent graphics cards, downloaded some nice mods such as lokken, Tamriel rebuilt, GCD, LGNCP, and houses to rent and so on, got MGE working, downloaded a slew of texture mods (including the amazing vurts tree mods), and now I am ready to actually finish the game, and am having a blast playing with all the new stuff.
Basically Morrowind + beautiful scenic views, more in depth npcs, and a shedload more quests = me very pleased for a long time (hopefully until skyrim : P)
