tonight i had my female character join the brotherhood of steel after helping hardin become elder, and now i have power armor!!

I like to join them then wipe them out

The Sissyhood of Steel is not worthy of breath, I slay them by very Machiavellian means....

I join them for the power armor training. after that, nothing.

I joined them a few times, I've always found their quest line rather boring... The Power-Armor was nice though, lol.

I enjoy wiping out the bunker with nothing but my trusty riot shotgun and some pulse grenades.

The only good thing at all about the (west coast) BOS is Veronica. And power armor training (though I can get that through the autodidact perk in Dree's more perk mod. Or from the East Coast BOS in TTW.)

Beyond that, it really puzzles me why so many people defend the wcBOS. Really, outside of their power armors and energy weapons they're a bunch of nobodys. A dead end faction with absolutely no future, and no plan for the future (other than "try to out-survive everyone else by taking away all the tech", which has proven to be an abysmal failure of a strategy.)


Wiping them out for house or ncr is a mercy, really.

??? I never defended them in this thread. Just said that I join them for the training then they are out of sight, out of mind.

I'm referring to other BOS related threads where people often come to their defense.

Thing is, out actions in the game will never be lore, except in fanfiction. Likely we will never know what the results of out actions in the Mojave would be because the developers would likely have chosen a canon anyways.
