I really hate how members of the PC community hate anything different than the original game. I wouldnt like this game if it had the exact same gameplay that was in crysis 1.
I happen to love everything about this game, the MP, the SP, the storyline, the aliens, the guns, the suit, and of course the graphics. I really don't give a **** if the graphics aren't as powerful as the first one, it's gameplay I want. ( besides, somebody's gonna mod in a custom graphics mod anyway. ) Don't get me wrong, I love the crysis 1 multiplayer alot as well, I played it for hours today, actually, and the hectic "OH **** OH **** SNIPER QUICK GRAB THE MOAC" gameplay still gets me, and I'll still go back to it now and then, even after C2 is released.
When I ask people on the crysis 1 servers what they think about crysis 2, all they ever say is "ITS **** ITS BLACK OPS WITH SUPERSUITS ITS DIFFERENT", and it annoys me. Call of duty with a super suit would actually svck, considering how it works, it'd be terribly unbalanced, considering how the maps are built. I actually play COD black ops on my 360, and it's actually fun, when you play it seriously. But eventually, I have to admit, I get bored of it. Since the Mp demo launched, I haven't played COD once.

The point is that if you don't want to play crysis 2 since it's 'consolised', then go play Crysis wars, I'm sure you'll have fun.

I think C2's multiplayer is freakin awesome, even tho I'm not a fan of multiplayer in general. C1's multiplayer was okay.. Didn't like it when everyone went for a tank or vtol.. Made me feel like "why the f*ck am I carrying a scar? Just gonna get sploded by a missile". C2 is fast-paced and everyone has to use the weapon they're holding, not the weapon built onto their ride. More skill and reflexes involved. Plus Air Stomp is epic! And also power sliding! C2 is the one game where I can have tons of fun and hardly worry about what my framerate is, unlike C1.

I love the the demo a lot but still hoping for better graphics than Crysis 1.

If Crysis 2 like it is now was a PC exclusive i could bet no one would complain, & for some PC owners to say it's COD in nanosuits. Then thay don't even know there own game (Crysis). There's far more emphasis on a slower, deliberate approach. Enemy taging, ammo drops etc rather than romping through all guns blazing.

I romped through Crysis 1 mp and Crysis wars all guns blazing, in fact I don't even think I can turn cloak on with my keyboard layout. I have the nano suit wheel turned off and have my speed, armor, and strength modes binded to keys, and I change suit modes about 40 or 50 times per minute. It CAN be much more fast paced in Crysis 1 and Wars than in Crysis 2. But of course that is why I prefer C1 and Wars because you have more FREEDOM to play how you want. Most people just never figured that out. Of course I'm speaking more of multiplayer as we haven't actually played any single player yet....unless you pirated it.

I'm on PS3 and I like it, seems pretty cool... I like the Feel of it, it feels good... (when you get Lag.. that svcks big time) but the game I'm enjoying it so far... It svcks that most of the games I've played seem to be laggy... I have a fast connect but people in the game are lagging...

other then that, it feels awesome having powers.. running fast, jumping -It's done really well... Amazing..

Other thoughts --> there is an interesting article comparing the PS3 and Xbox versions-- Must say I'm really disappointed to see that after all that talk from the CEO of Crytek, the PS3 version seems washed out and not as good as on the 360 --Really surprised at that, kind of a let down.

It's clearly not taking advantage of anything on PS3 other then getting it running.. (-_-)

I hope at least in the Single player they push the PS3... but from what I seen from the MP I seriously doubt we will see that. .
again it looks like the focus was just get it running... Nothing more..

im loving the game alot I would only hope Crytek would stop making changes to there game to accommodate people that are dying in the game.Everyone dies is the game from time to time but young children need an excuse saying the game is not fair due to aim assist, grenades, ect. ect. just stop changing your game and release the way it was meant to be released.

I preordered Crysis 2 for the singleplayer; multi is a bonus for me. For multiplayer shooters the Battlefield series has held my attention the most, but the Crysis pc demo was actually a lot of fun. My first impression was not good: small map, run around in circles, turkey shoot CoD style… but after a few games I was hooked. Loved the Mirror’s Edge style jumping onto ledges, and so many ways to move around the map. Once you figure out all the controls, powers, etc.. it can be a lot of fun in its own way. I even maxed out at lv10 right before demo ended.

I like Crysis 2 so far from what I've seen,

but about the negative flack about the game, I'm sure more people like it than dislike it. Problem is for every person that writes a positive comment on the game 3 zit faced 12 year old's posing as advlts with years experience gaming/modding/coding get on here and start a diatribe. I'm sure there are valid reasons for people not to like the game. I for one do not think that the multi-player looks as good as crysis 1 single player...is that to say that it will not look as good once released, who the hell knows. Am I going to write long rants about how I know games cause I was a tester bla bla bla and the whole game is crap, nope cause I don't know for sure how its going to turn out. We have been promised dX11, and in that promise should bring better visuals for those who can run it. But I bought both the 1st Crysis games for the singleplayer and if the Multi doesn't look as good so be it as long as it has good anti cheat and a good range of guns/perks/upgrade paths which from some videos I have seen appears that way I will be happy.

Im not saying that all negative comments are uncalled for but saying that Crysis 2 is utter crap because you don't like one aspect of it shows ignorance. There is more to a game then how a Multiplayer Demo (NOTE I SAID DEMO) looks...replay value, sound, story, lack of bugs, etc make a game whole...if people want pretty they can go download and pretend they are playing the Heaven benchmark.

No you aren't the only one. I love the multiplayer of Crysis 2. Free Radical made great job IMO.
