I play Morrowind and I came across the tomb of

Mordrin Hanin and he is mentioned in Hanin's Wake. Was he a Altmer or a Dunmer. I guess he was sometime during the First Era, Neravar's Time. I'm curious as to who or what is was. his tomb is a cave, not a Velothi style tomb.

He is a Nord Warlord from the time when Nords built first Empire of Men in Tamriel during the First Era. He is not the only Nord buried in Vvardenfall during the Nordic Conquests, a Son of King Harald is buried very close to Vivec City in a Dunmer tomb, too.

Nothing concrete on UESP. I'd venture a guess that he was a Dunmer cultural hero pre-Tribunal. Given his association with several Daedric shrines, he probably became a blasphemous subject at the advent on the Tribunal.

I guess he might've been around during the War of the First Council, but it's strange how he didn't get buried in a dunmer tomb like the son of King Harald, and got buried in a cave like tomb.

Since they're rogue Telvanni in that tomb, I'd guess he was Telvanni too, but he might've been before House Telvanni.

House Telvanni did not exist when Modryn was buried. He was a Nord Warlord in Vvardenfell before the War of the First Council.

The First Council formed after Modryn Hanin was dead, and was formed because the Dwemer and the Chimer united together to force the Nords out of Vvardenfall.
