I pre-order games from Amazon because of the lower price and the free shipping. Tribal Pack looks like it's going to be fun for my second playthrough (that's going to be my melee one). Only two more months until New Vegas comes out. I'm so glad I have football right now because it's keeping me occupied until New Vegas arrives in the mail.

Funny , last night i pre-ordered the game. I was really debating between the classic pack and tribal pack. I really love melee and i think the special pre order from amazon with the Broad Machete just might really rock, got game day delivery for 5 bucks so for 55+ buck i cant wait.

Now if i can only find a riot shield of some kind and the broad machete coated in "Bleak Venom" and hardcoe mode well it'll be fun and challenging.

I've got a Steam Pre-order! :D

The bonus did not affect my choice in any way. If I absolutely must have that Vault 13 flask I can just pop open the devconsole and use player.additem to give myself one. I got the Steam pre-order for the convenience, and for the fact that I don't have to spend 6 gallons of gasoline to buy it and another 6 to pick it up. Also, Steam is on PC, and I play all games on PC if I can.

A phat X2

Though the Collector's Edition really is tempting only because I am such a dad gum fan

Collector's Edition game with Collector's Edition Strategy Guide from GameStop. I also have the Kmart FNV Coasters, and a Geof Darrow lithograph for the All Roads comic the prequels FNV, that was only available at the 2010 Comic Con convention. The only FNV collectible I don't have yet, is the New California Republic T-shirt from Quake Con. I'm working on getting one now :)

No pre order here. I prefer to pick it up from a local frys the day it comes out, typically frys is good at letting very popular day of release go for way less than they should. I got the orange box day of release from frys for $19.99 where everywheres else was charging $39.99 the same day.

Plus I cant personally justify the pre order for those items, it will eventually end up avalable through mod at a later date. Same with the collectors edition, I will be able to find all that stuff on ebay being sold off and I can get just what I want.

I pre-ordered it from Games Warehouse, an online store here in Australia. It doesn't list any items for pre-ordering but that's usually the case and the games will come with the more generic items. *shugs*

I just wanted to make sure I got it and by pre-ordering I effectively get free shipping.

I pre-ordered from Walmart (First time ever). Instead of picking it up in-store I decided to have it shipped to me. Little did I know the game wouldn't arrive until October 29th! I can't cancel the order because I already spent my 10 dollars e-money.

i pre-ordered the Collectors Edition from Gamestop. for PS3... hopefully reviewers will be getting an advance copy so i can see if there is still a (somewhat) difference with lagging and/or graphical hiccups from the 360 version (dont have a half-decent PC) as was seemingly the case with FO3 (which i had on 360) so i can decide if i need to change platforms at the 11th hour. also kinda depends if they give some clarification on the DLC situation...HOPEFULLY it'll come out at the same time on ALL platforms.

if there's no difference between the 2 console versions and only a month or so delay for the DLC on PS3, i'll probly stick with it

usually IGN & some other sites put up reviews for both, or all, platforms so im hoping they do so w/ FONV before it drops. sorry if that kinda turned into ramblings... :D

So next week I'll be putting even more money down on the Collector's Edition. Figure it's best to pay for it in increments.
I hope in a future Fallout game you get to kill MORMONS and gain good reputation/karma from it. I'd never buy a Fallout game which has Utah in it.

Have you deleted way old saves, cleared the cache or installed the disc to the hard drive? You're mentioning Fallout 3, correct?

If I were in charge of a video game company, I'd never allow any of the games I publish be sold or have exclusives with Wal-[expletive DELETED] or in Utah what-so-ever. What was Bethesda/Obsidian thinking?!
Spoiler
I use Amazon Marketplace, sell and buy stuff from there. I have never nor will I ever sell/buy/trade ANYTHING to somebody who lives in Utah. In the description I have it I will NOT send anything to Utah, any buyers from there will immediately have their transaction completed and the money kept. Those are my strict self-rules so too bad, sooooooooo very sad.

Oh well.

Well, I was going to pre-order from Play.com because I wanted the Caravan pack. Sadly, however, I can only get the Collector's Edition by buying from GAME or Gamestation in the UK.

So, now I have to choose between the Classic pack and the Mercenary pack. I'll probably just pick the former.

I pre-orderd from Walmart. It said it had a guaranteed release day delivery (Oct. 19) for pre-orders. You can't beat that for only 97 cents.
