I hate Wal-Mart's packaging is one reaosn I never go there. It's super cheap so when you buy dvds the glue they use on the side won't come off and keeps a piece of plastic on it. Target's my true love. :wub:

I've just looked at play.com too chriso, caravan pack ￡37,99.
I then checked gamstation & only saw the collector's edition: do you get any extra weapons or armor etc with CE version or is just the chips,art book etc.
Also chriso...you said about the classic & mercenary pack...where did you see them?...& where are you buying from?
You said you were going to buy the caravan pack ( just curious ),did you change your mind?....just wondered because you said you now have to choose between classic & merc,just wondered why, my good man

Did you select the fastest shipping method? I didn't because I didn't want to pay extra for it to arrive faster. I'm paying 97 cents too, but I have a Oct. 29 arrival.

As far as I know, there is no extra in-game content with the Collector's Edition.

You can get the Classic pack from GAME and the Mercenary from Gamestation with pre-order. It doesn't say on their respective website, but Bethesda have confirmed it.

I still want the Caravan pack (Lightweight Leather Armour looks bad ass ), but Play.com aren't selling the Collector's Edition -- GAME and Gamestation have it exclusively, and I want it.
So that's why I have to pick between Classic and Merc... and neither of them are particularly want. I think vault jumpsuits look gimpy and that merc armour looks weird as well.

I might just go with GAME, as I have a Reward Card there and it'll give me a lot of points, and plus the Water Canteen looks pretty cool, especially considering I'm playing hardcoe Mode.

The was no other shipping options, just the standard 97 cent shipping. It says right on the product page, "Preorder this item today and it should arrive on or just after 10/19/2010."

Actually, from what I've been reading, everyone will have it on steam. Instead of using that Microcrap Window Crap Factory or whatever it was called they are going through steam. That means that your game will be linked to steam. All DLC and other DLs (pre-order packs) will come from them aswell.

Preordered from EB Australia, Collector's Edition. I wanted the Caravan, but I had to make do with what was available: Classic.
