Someone new. James Earl Jones.

Preston Elliot and Steve Morrison, two popular early morning radio hosts from Philadelphia.

I dislike Threedog as well. The voice actor commented last year (or earlier this year) about Fallout so it's likely Bethesda contacted him again for a role.
Hopefully not as the DJ. The songs are nice but as soon as he goes: "This is THAAAREEH DAWWWG OWWWWWWWWW!!!"
I wanted to go back to GNR and kick him in the nuts.

It would be great if Tabitha's travels took her to Boston. Wil Weathon as a Mr. Handy actually sounds good as a DJ.
Another would be Ari Rubin in his "Fantastic" character. Or Oliver Swanick's voice actor. "I won the MU-THA-[censored]-IN LOTTEREEEEEH!!!!!"

Dear Fallout Friends, to ease your minds as of today I am not a part of #4. Should that change it will be a secret I will honor. https://twitter.com/hashtag/ShareLove?src=http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1520678-who-should-be-the-fallout-4-dj/hash

This

I liked the idea that 3Dog was limited to discs that didn't get destroyed - but it would have been cool if one of the side quests was collecting music for the radio station. We got to collect scrap metal for 2 different characters, Sugar Bombs for somebody else, etc. Why not CDs for 3Dog!?

Also, I hope there is more than one station, like NV.

I'd take Tabitha over Three Dog and Mr. New Vegas any day.

Im sorry, but why couldnt Tabitha be there? The canon story from FO 3 is that she left Black Mountain with Rhonda and co. She could have wandered to the Boston Area and found some old clapped out transmitting station.

Assuming she managed to avoid the Battle Cattle!

Tabitha: Are you tired of getting chased because you're bigger than humans and scaring them? Did you kill some, and they overreacted? Are two-head bear people shooting at you, and battle cattle mooing? Beware the battle cattle!

Tabitha: I see Moe! Rhonda: Moe the centaur?! Favorite centaur Moe? What's he up to? Tabitha: Licking the gate! Wants out of the pen! Seriously with dialogue like the above Rhonda and best friend Tabitha must be there!

Please, anyone but Three Dog. Annoying voice, annoying dialogue, annoying howling...No. Please, no. I liked Mr. New Vegas, but obviously he wouldn't make sense in Boston. I'm sure it will be someone new, hopefully with a better voice and better dialogue than Three Dog.

What is canon in Fallout 3 is largely unknown.

Tabitha had nothing to do with Fallout 3. Tabitha was a Fallout: New Vegas character.

What is canon in Fallout NV is largely unknown.

Currently canon status of Tabitha is unknown.

So... we know that the kotaku leaks about pre-war and Preston Garvey were true...

'The casting documents describe some of the other characters in the next Fallout's wasteland, like a radio DJ named Travis Miles and an engineer named Sturges who is described as "a cross between Buddy Holly and Vin Diesel." Casting calls for both the male and female versions of the player character note that the player begins the game in a cryogenic sleep chamber.'

So we most likely will have a DJ called Travis Miles.

My bad, I put my Tabitha and Rhonda from NV in FO3. I apologise. Either way it would be awesome to hear Rhonda and Tabitha (yeah I know they are the same person) in FO4 even if they are an Obsidian invention.

This is not a joke. I am totally serious. The DJ should be Doctor Ray De Angelo Harris.

Honestly didn't like Three-Dog. His "woooo, I'm so enthusiastic awooo" schtick got old very fast.

I liked Mr. New Vegas.

But I also like the idea of people getting interviews.

What if the antagonist of the story could hijack the radio station and leave a message for the Survivor?

I'd expect someone different and/or more fitting to the setting/region/story/etc.

(Only time 3Dog annoyed me was when he did his psychic-knowledge-moralizing thing and criticized me for killing off Roy Phillips & Co..... in an abandoned tunnel.... far away from anything that could report it.... So, yeah. Never killed him in any of my FO3 playthroughs. But, then, I've never felt like killing the loud priest or "cloud district" dude in Skyrim, either.)

Do we even know if FO4 takes place before/after/during FO3/NV? Also since both those options can be killed by the PC in their respective games they are not viable options.

I adore Tabitha and Rhonda, but I really think it should be an AI/robot with a horrendous Boston accent.

I really liked Three Dog (Owwwwwww), but I hope the new DJ is not as biased to the "Good Fight" as he was...

It just make you feel more pressured to do good and make you feel guilty when you're doing bad :( I always ended up killing Three Dog every time I play as a bad karma character in FO3 just to avoid being constantly nagged on the radio
