Who is still playing?

How about an orange one? http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/Epic%20Buffy/ScreenShot968.jpg :twirl:
You do some very beautiful screenshots. Thank you for sharing.

As for playing Oblivion, I played heavily for about the first two years, less so in the next two and lightly in the last two. I recently reinstalled Morrowind and I'm finding that my experiences in Oblivion are giving me a whole different approach so that Morrowind seems like a whole new game. These days, I have too many diverse interests and activities to do serious gaming.

When did I say that?

When did I say that?

This is actually a really good point. My least favorite Elder Scrolls game gives me more hours of entertainmnet than my favorite game from other companies. Nice observation.

*Least favourite

which was a direct response to At-Hatoor where he was also talking about Oblivion...

I think it says a lot about Bethesda and The Elder Scrolls in general that I'm still playing and thoroughly enjoying my least favourite game in the series, even after six years.

You misunderstand completely what I was trying to say. But I don't feel like arguing about it. It's not worth it.

No, I understood what you were saying. I can read. I was simply responding to one part of your reply.

I still play (since 2006) and mod (since 2007) Oblivion. When playing Oblivion I feel like home. I did play Skyirm and modded a little bit (just trying out different things). Skyrim didn't entertain me like Oblivion did (I think it was this cold atmosphere and the lack of depth in Skyrim's quests). I hope that the mods in the next years will make Skyrim as enjoyable as Oblivion.

I still play, occasionally. I spend more time playing New Vegas, Batman: Arkham City and FO3 these days, but it's still there on my PC for that time, roughly once a week, where I get CWS (Cyrodiil Withdrawal Syndrome) :)

FO3 here too a lot. It was the same when I got into Morrowind, I played that game more than Oblivion then. Sooner or later though, I always come back to Cyrodiil :tes:

You should really give Skyrim a shot! I know you might not like the Steam thing, but surely you can overlook that? It really is a sensational game.

And I 'still' play, although up until last year I had no idea that TES exsisted. I'm not a big gamer, in case you couldn't tell!

I′m sure it′s a good game, but no, I won′t play it. I will never buy a game that forces me to anything but upgrading my system, plus I don′t have enough time as it is playing FO3 and Oblivion ;)

I've been wanting to jump back to Oblivion and I think I just might.

I remember back in '07 when I first played this amazing game. All the beautiful nights fighting in the Arena...Good times, has always been my favorite game.

My Xbox 360 copy doesn't work anymore cuz I've played it to hell since 2006. Today I actually picked up an original T rated copy for PC for $5 at the flea market. My laptop isn't good enough for it to run without lagging, so I'll shelf it until the day finally comes where I can properly play it.

I started playing Oblivion about a year after it came out, And I still love the game. For some reason, I find it more fun than Skyrim. If Oblivion had the graphics and Magic/Duel wielding system, It would totally be the superior game.

"laughs" .. i stoped playing it ages ago. I got every quest completed. But the world was just boring as hell. The worse in the series. Right now i either play Skyrim or good old Morrowind. *the superior in all the series*

I admit, I abandoned Oblivion for a few months to check out Skyrim, but I'm back now. I found that I enjoy each game about equally on its own merits, and Oblivion has ten times more mods that actually work, so Oblivion wins.

I'll head back to Skyrim to check things out in a few months and see if the mod scene has improved, though I imagine it'll take years before there's anywhere near the quality and sheer numbers of Oblivion... I'm not saying there are no great mods for Skyrim, just that there aren't nearly as many, and the few that I can envision becoming must-haves are still in diapers right now. They'll get there. Oblivion's insane number of quality mods didn't appear overnight, either. And unfortunately a good number of modders won't even begin working until the navmesh bug (among others) is fixed, not to mention Bethesda's devs are still accidentally buggering half the available mods every time a new patch is released.

I'm just glad I have so much left to do in Oblivion while I wait. I've been playing this game for almost three years and haven't completed the MQ or any of the guild questlines yet, lol.

Edited because I can't express myself well pre-coffee.

I pop Oblivion into my PS3 every now and then. I don't play much due to it feeling so slow when you move the camera(I noticed Fallout New Vegas does the same thing) and the fact that the NPC interactions scare me. I don't plan to get the PC version at all, but might do a new playthrough. I do hate how the game's chargen is hard to look at due to the lighting. The wolves also carrying vampirism is a bit annoying, as well. I feel like dusting the game off now. Be back in 24 hours and hope my female beard doesn't become real. Haha.

Wolves can give you helljoint, which drains speed and agility. They cannot cause vampirism.

Renee, you are too nice. Something must have blown up over on the Skyrim board because there seems to be a lot of lost souls landing on this board today. After all, Klawed Flaw only pops Oblivion every now and then, but he’ll be back in 24 hours, so set up the Claymores now.

I started playing this game 2006 and I still play it. I can't even imagine how many hours I've put into it. I believe I've done every quest, tried every possible character, owned every possible item... it's just that Oblivion was the first game I really enjoyed ever and it is the game that made me start gaming. Now, after I've played numerous different games and loved most of them, I still love Oblivion the most. It may sound weird, but I've never modded it. Never. I know it has its flaws, but I've come to like them too. Right now I'm playing a sneaky punching Altmer. He's awesome!

This may have gotten a bit too sentimental... it sounds like I was talking about my lover.
