Who still plays that got the game when it came out?

Post » Tue Jan 14, 2014 7:06 pm

I bought this the day it came out. I've taken a long b reak but started yet ANOTHER character yesterday. I am really hoping if I just play casually this time around I won't get bored and will complete all the quest lines.

I've still never beaten Dragonborn DLC because by the time it came out I had put so many hours into the game that I would keep getting burnt out.

I do.

I only bought the DLC's when they became fully available though 8 months later. I don't play it as much as I used to though. GTA5 has taken over along with MTG.

I have not beaten the main quest though, but my current character is the Dragonborn I plan to take through the main quest and Dragonborn DLC. His RP made the most sense for a Dragonborn. Altmer Battlemage (sort of).

I'm trying to do RP restrictions to make this playthrough more difficult. I hope it works. I'd really like to get through Dragonborn DLC.

I got it about a week after it released. I still play it, but right now I'm taking a break from it.

Yeah, if we're posting, we're probably still playing. :)

I've taken breaks of weeks/months but always have a character going. And I don't even have any DLC on my PC (my main place to game)! I do use mods, though. And heavily roleplay. That keeps things fresh.

Are there any ways besides RPing to keep the game fresh? If there are some RP methods you go by that aren't all that common what are they?

One of the two games that I ever preordered (the other one being Pokemon Black), got it release day, and yea, I still play it.

Why would we be here if we didn't play it?

Take breaks from it every so often for 6-8 weeks but always seem to come back to it for more.

When I get tired of playing it I drop it for a few weeks or months, and then come back when I get the urge to start playing again.

If you're on PC you can always try out a new game with a new set of mods.

Yep. I also mostly still play the same character I made at release. Of course I have improved him and the game a lot with mods, and restarted few times to get the best possible modded game experience.

Yeah I got it the day it came out on 360. Then I got it again on PC a few months ago, and I'm still playing this version.

Yup. Got the game on the infamous 11/11/11 and still play. I've had a few breaks of a couple of months for travel or work-related travel, but when I'm around I find time to play. I stopped a while to try GTA V but really was disappointed about the lack of things to do in single player. Was fun, but got bored quickly after finishing the "story".

EDIT: Only game I've ever pre-ordered. Kind of felt bad for walking in front of those kids at the store who had just gotten turned down because of lack of ID. Well, not really. :-)

Got it about a week after it came out, cause I was on vacation on 11.11.11. According to Steam I've played for 2283 hours--95+ days.

Got it the day it came out. I don't play as much anymore due to life and work.

And playing other more interesting games...

I just got back into the swing of things after taking a moderate hiatus, as I often do with TES games. I'll stop playing Skyrim when the next TES game comes out, unless there's something unique that pulls me back to Skyrim in retrospect.
