So everyone has those items that can't be repaired by the trivial wasteland items, so we need a good repairman to repair it for us.

Which person has the best repair skill though? I have a couple items to repair such as Lincoln's repeater and T-51b armor.

I was thinking about this the other day. The searching and having to do battle with guys just to get their weapons parts, gets annoying. How does the trick work where you get the repair ability of a trader to increase?

Somah from Mothership Zeta, although she's not permanent.

Something like using reverse pickpocketing and swapping armor with one that has a better repair bonus.

I think the best is that chick on the Mothership, she has 100% repair skills, but she leaves at the end.

Or maybe the mechanic in Point Lookout.

Yes. Haley in Point Lookout has got to be one of the best repairman, that you can rely on, for not disappearing/getting killed. When arriving to his shop(Haley's Hardware)...you can raise his repair skill by 5, each time you enter his shop in a certain way. I've done this glitch and it helps alot. Here's the video.
