Who is the Biggest Idiot Protagonist in Anime? : Othor Games

Rather simple question. Who do you think is the dumbest main protagonist in any anime series? Strictly on account of their level of intelligence depicted in their given series. Side protagonists are not counted. Only the numero uno.

I am not sure, but I am leaning towards Monkey D. Luffy. I thought Naruto was stupid, but then I started watching One Piece lol. 231 episodes in and yeah, he is a monumental idiot. Fun series though.

I am aware there are other shows with even more idiotic characters in them, but this is strictly about the main protagonist. I am pretty convinced Luffy is the dumbest main protagonist out of all the anime I have watched, while not as extensive as some, it is still quite a lot imo.

Biggest Idiot protagonist in Animes----Hmmm:

Serena from Sailor Moon (excluding SM Crystal cause I think that's a reboot and closer to the mangas) She's a bit of an airhead.

Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop: She's not very smart around money.

Krillin from Dragon Ball Z series: He always gets his ass kicked and bellyaches in battle if Goku's not there.

Miroku from InuYasha: He isn't very smart when around Sango.

biggest Idiot (on an intellectual level) protagonist in anime.. hmm...

off the very top of my head: "Yoshii Akihisa" from "Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu"

I am sure i can think of someone a little more of an Idiot after i give it some thought... but anyone who was watched that series will have to admit, he is a complete idiot, and as such has to be in the top five at least (he is certainly more of an idiot than the characters mentioned in the above posts)

Pretty much any male, protagonist in any Harem setting. With a few exceptions Ohtorizawa Akatsuki from Hagure Yuusha no Estetica. Smart, charismatic, and completely aware of how girls feel about him, though his only downside is he's perverted.

And Sora from No Game No Life. Charismatic (Sometimes), Intelligent, and as well completely aware of people around him.
